  • Patent number: 7687725
Abstract: A corrosion resistant Faraday cage assembly includes an electrically conductive cover and a coated die cast housing having a ledge extending around the perimeter of the housing. A fence is positioned adjacent to the ledge and a track is positioned between the ledge and the fence. A plurality of serrated contact points are positioned on the fence and are used for making electrical contact with the electrically conductive cover extending over the track. The contact points are either masked prior to the protective coating process or they are mechanically or chemically modified afterward to expose a plurality of electrically-conductive surfaces to be in contact with the electrically-conductive cover.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: January 18, 2008
Date of Patent: March 30, 2010
    Assignee: Delphi Technologies, Inc.

  • Patent number: 7559172
Abstract: An improved soft flexible fishing lure and a method of rigging same are provided by the present invention. More in particular, the invention provides a soft flexible fishing lure having an elongate lure body having a longitudinal axis, a top longitudinal surface, a bottom longitudinal surface, a left wall surface, a right wall surface, a head region forming the distal end, and a tail region forming the proximal end and a channel positioned along the longitudinal axis of the lure at the bottom longitudinal surface. The fishing lure of the invention is further provided with a tandem hook assembly that resides in part in the channel of the soft flexible lure body.

  • Publication number: 20090067139
Abstract: An electronic assembly having a large or massive electronic component mounted to a circuit substrate is stabilized against movement due to shock and/or vibration by an elastic dampening member disposed between the large electronic component and a clamping member that compresses the dampening member between the clamping member and the electronic component and urges opposite end walls of the dampening member against opposite sidewalls of the electronic component to securely grip the electronic component between the opposite end walls of the dampening member. The arrangement is effective for reducing and/or eliminating damage and subsequent failure due to exposure of the electronic assembly to shock and/or vibration.

  • Patent number: 6499358
Abstract: A torque apparatus for the installation and removal of threaded connecting device that employs a plurality of leaf spring elements engaging a plurality of asymmetrical drive teeth sides to establish preset torque values in a hermetically sealed configuration or a variable range of preset torque values in a second configuration. The preset torque values can be readily changed in the second configuration by employing different quantities of leaf springs, differing leaf spring designs, or varying the geometry of the rotor drive teeth. The leaf spring to rotor drive teeth interface provides a slip mechanism to prevent over-torquing when torque values for the installation of a threaded connecting type device is exceeded. While both torque wrench configurations are sterilizable, the torque wrench that is capable of full disassembly for sterilization and use thereafter in a sterilized environment, is reconfigurable for different torque applications without calibration.
