  • Publication number: 20260076291
Abstract: A material spreader includes a hopper, a valve, a lever, and a stop. The valve obstructs flow of a material from the hopper in a closed position, and passes the material from the hopper in an opened position. The lever is operatively connected to the valve, and pivotally or slidingly fixed relative to the valve. Pivoting or sliding the lever in a first direction actuates the valve toward the opened position. Pivoting or sliding the lever in a second direction actuates the valve toward the closed position. Pressing the lever inward in the longitudinal direction drives the lever from an extended position toward a retracted position. The stop obstructs the lever from traveling passed a predetermined location in the second direction when the lever is in the extended position. The lever passes the predetermined location in the second direction when the lever is in the retracted position.

  • Publication number: 20250277769
Abstract: A sensor may include a sensing element retained within a storage compartment filled with a storage medium, which may also be used as a calibration medium. The sensing element can include a sensing surface located away from the distal end of the sensing element, such that an inactive section of the sensing element can cooperate with a sealing member such as an O-ring to form part of the seal retaining the storage/calibration medium. The sensing element can be extended and retracted from the storage compartment to expose the sensing surface to a process medium, while preserving the storage medium within the storage compartment for post-measurement validation.

  • Publication number: 20250111409
Abstract: A system that analyzes a user's communications to select a promotion that is presented to the user. The analysis may occur in two stages: a first stage analyzes a single communication from a user to determine whether the user is a potential target for a promotion; for potential targets, a second stage analyzes a history of communications from the user to generate a user profile. The system may then select a promotion based on the profile. The profile may include a set of profile tags that are considerably more detailed and granular than traditional demographic data; tags may for example indicate user affiliations with groups or ideas (such as religions or political parties), or user life cycle stages. Using these rich, detailed user profile tags, the system may achieve promotion response rates far above those from traditional advertising, which relies on cookies or simple demographic categories.
