  • Patent number: 11931140
Abstract: Navigation and simulation systems and methods for minimally invasive therapy in which the navigation system imports a planning method using patient specific preoperative images. The navigation system uses intraoperative imaging during the medical procedure to update the preoperative images and provides images of tracked surgical tools along the surgical path prepared from the preoperative images.

  • Patent number: 5215327
Abstract: The stiffness of the suspension is very much a function of the load in hydro-pneumatic vehicle suspensions. With high loads the vehicle suspension is stiff and with a light load it is relatively soft. In addition, the vehicle suspension of the wheel on the outside of the turn is stiffer than that of the wheel at the inside of the turn. The changes in the stiffness of the vehicle suspension are very disagreeable and can result in dangerous driving conditions. Equalization of the stiffness of the vehicle suspension is provided with the aid of a supplemental force. The supplemental force acts in the same direction as the load force of the vehicle chassis. The vehicle suspension is preferably suited for motor vehicles.

  • Patent number: 5189615
Abstract: The invention concerns a method and a device for the suspension control of vehicles, in particular motorcars and commercial vehicles, with the following steps:Sensory ascertainment of the dynamic rolling condition and processing of the established rolling condition data, to generate a control signal for a semi-active damper, preferably one allocated to each wheel of the vehicle, the damping force of which is adjustable in certain situations which are dependent on the driving condition, to as small a value as possible. It is suggested that the semi-active damper, depending on the control signal and the actual value of the damper force is set in substitution for an active damper function which though desired with regard to the prevailing operating point, is not however achievable, this substitute setting being made with maximum hardness or maximum softness.
