  • Publication number: 20230251840
Abstract: A system includes an edge server for a secured deployment of a container in the edge server. The system also includes a secure element and a message broker that routes messages from containers, wherein a container is deployed in the edge server. The system further includes a secure element manager configured to negotiate with the deployed container to agree on an ephemeral key, by exchanging messages containing values derived from shared secrets. The secure element manager retrieves a secret identifier from the secured element and encrypts the secret identifier with the ephemeral key. The container retrieves the encrypted secret identifier from the secure element manager, decrypts the encrypted secret identifier with the ephemeral key, accesses the secured element using the decrypted secret identifier, and retrieves credentials generated by the secured element in order to connect with the message broker.

  • Patent number: 10268851
Abstract: A method and arrangement for interaction between a data processing device and a mobile device for the activation of a software action in the data processing device, including the steps: representation of request information on a display unit of the data processing device, acquisition of the request information with an optical sensor of the mobile device, generation of reply information in or via the mobile device, and representation of the reply information on a display of the mobile device. To simplify transmission of the reply information to the data processing device and to increase the security of the data transmission, the reply information is read using an optical reading device coupled to the data processing device and transmitted to the data processing device for the automatic activation of the software action, wherein the data processing device is not connected to the data network at least during data transmission.

  • Patent number: 9864346
Abstract: A method for connecting a switching station automation device, protection device or field device according to the IEC61850 communication standard to an industry automation field bus of an industry automation system. The method includes producing a modified SCL (Substation Configuration Description Language) technical manual file, SCL technical manual file is expanded by implementing at least one data object with mapping information in the form of communication- and functional parameters of the industry automation field bus, compiling the modified SCL technical manual file into a Device Type Manager component, and configuring the switching station automation device by the FDT frame application using the DTM component.

  • Patent number: 9486005
Abstract: A method of treating hypercholesterolemia in mammals, by administering an effective amount of a microbial fermentation product, and regulating genes involved in lipoprotein metabolism. A method of regulating cholesterol levels in a patient by administering an effective amount of a composition chosen from the group consisting of PAZ, specific components isolated from PAZ, chemically synthesized analogs of the components of PAZ, and regulating genes involved in lipoprotein metabolism. A method of treating high cholesterol levels in an individual by administering an effective amount of a microbial fermentation product, up-regulating the expression of at least one of the genes that encode ABCA1, ApoA1, and SRB1, and down-regulating the gene that encodes CETP. A method of preventing the onset of high cholesterol levels and/or a deleterious lipoprotein profile in an individual.
