  • Publication number: 20250017599
Abstract: The present disclosure is a femoral preparation guide and a kit of surgical components related to the femoral preparation guide. The femoral preparation guide is for use on a condyle of a femur during a surgical procedure in which the condyle receives a femoral condylar implant. The femoral preparation guide includes a posterior portion for fitting over a posterior region of the condyle and a distal portion for fitting over a distal region of the condyle. The distal portion is at an angle relative to the posterior portion. The distal portion includes first and second resections slots for receiving cutting tools that provide two resections of the condyle. The first and second resections slots being at angles relative to each other.

  • Publication number: 20190328536
Abstract: A prosthetic device configured to function as a joint has a first joint component configured to be fixed to a first bone and a second joint component configured to engage the first joint component. The second joint component has an anchoring base configured to be fixed to a second bone, and a cup configured to be connected to the anchoring base. The cup has a cylindrical wall defining an outer surface of the cup, a cavity formed by a spherical recess inside of a circular edge at a top of the cylindrical wall, and an attachment post extending away from the cavity and configured to connect to the anchoring base. The attachment post is aligned with a center of a circle defined by the circular edge and an axis of the attachment post is parallel to the cylindrical wall.

  • Publication number: 20080197962
Abstract: A transformer based inverter system comprises a transformer core, a secondary winding wound around the transformer core, a plurality of primary winding circuits each comprising a clockwise or counterclockwise winding wound around the transformer core and a switch operative to selectively open and close to allow current to flow through the winding. Each primary winding circuit is connected to terminals of a DC generator to drive current around the transformer core in a clockwise or counterclockwise direction. A control system is operative to open and close the switches such that an input DC voltage from a generator is transformed and inverted into an AC voltage that has a frequency and voltage equal to a desired frequency and voltage, and such that as the input DC voltage varies within a range, the AC voltage at the terminal ends of the secondary winding remains substantially constant.
