  • Patent number: 10337217
Abstract: An exemplary deadbolt includes a pair of rollers positioned on opposing sides of an axial centerline of the deadbolt. The deadbolt may include chamfers or tapered surfaces extending from side surfaces of the deadbolt toward a face of the deadbolt. The rollers may extend beyond the face, one of the side surfaces, and/or one of the tapered surfaces. As the bolt moves from a retracted position to an extended position, one of the rollers may engage an edge of an opening in a strike plate, for example when the deadbolt is misaligned with the strike plate opening. As the rollers engage the edge, the deadbolt may be urged to a more aligned position.

  • Patent number: 6936989
Abstract: A pulse count motor control device that connects to a central control unit through a first interface and to at least one motor through a second interface. A microprocessor integrated into the motor control device then allows it to directly monitor and drive the motor or motors in accordance with pulse count technology methods.

  • Patent number: 6102608
Abstract: A damage resistant control, including: a first shaft; a second shaft having its proximal end attached to control apparatus; and adapter apparatus connecting the distal end of the first shaft and the distal end of the second shaft such as to permit a degree of axial movement between the first shaft and the second shaft so as to isolate axial force applied to the first shaft from being transmitted to the second shaft.

  • Patent number: 5658574
Abstract: Personal wash compositions containing an anionic surfactant as a cleaning agent and a cationic dendrimer as a mildness aid. The dendrimer lowers the irritation potential of the surfactant. Cationic dendrimers remain dispersed in anionic surfactant solutions. The dendrimers are significantly less viscous than linear cationic polymeric mildness aids and are monodispersed. Furthermore, the dendrimers perform better than linear cationic polymers, especially in the presence of harsh anionic surfactants such as sodium dodecyl sulfate.
