Abstract: A computer-based method is provided for conducting games of chance. The method includes defining a target overall house advantage for a game of chance having instances of randomized gameplay. The method then defines a game results set corresponding to the target overall house advantage. Upon receiving instructions from the user to initiate an instance of the random gameplay, the method returns a result of the instance of the randomized gameplay based on the defined game results set. The method determines or tracks an accumulated gameplay position and separately determines an expected gameplay position based on the target overall house advantage. Upon receiving a request from a user for repayment of accumulated loss, the method generates an artificial winning result. Also provided is a system for implementing the method.
