  • Patent number: 11454985
Abstract: The subject matter of this specification generally relates to modular vehicles including separable pod and base units. In some implementations, a computing system installed in a vehicle base identifies a vehicle pod that is detachably connected to a chassis on the vehicle base. In response to identifying that the vehicle pod is detachably connected to the chassis on the vehicle base, a communications link can be established between the computing system installed in the vehicle base and a computing system installed in the vehicle pod. Based on information obtained through the communications link, the computing system installed in the vehicle base can determine a particular configuration of the vehicle pod that is detachably connected to the chassis. The computing system can then verify that the vehicle base can safely transport the vehicle pod while the vehicle pod is detachably connected.

  • Publication number: 20220301724
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable injury prediction using one or more processors for receiving a time-varying signal of sensor measurements from a sensor device associated with a user. The processor(s) generate time windows of the time-varying signal, including a series of the sensor measurements across a predetermined time period, and generate motion features based at least in part on the series of the sensor measurements of the time windows. The processor(s) utilize an injury risk classification machine learning model to predict an injury risk during each time window based at least in part on the motion features. An injury alert message is generated based at least in part on the injury risk being predicted; and transmitting the injury alert message to at least one user computing device.

  • Publication number: 20220300395
Abstract: A system receives real-time log messages from an executing process that experiences a runtime error. Information such as a filename and line number for the underlying source code may be embedded in the log messages using compiler macros. When the log messages are received, a developer URL may be generated that links a developer workstation directly to the underlying source code file and line number in a source code repository. A support URL may also be generated with a link to a support center and an embedded search string that retrieves resources that are known to address the process error.

  • Publication number: 20220282414
Abstract: Various examples are provided related to attachment of bands about a garment opening. In one example, among others, a sleeve band can be attached to a garment by loading the sleeve band on a band guide, aligning an opening of a garment over the sleeve band, and attaching the band to the garment along the edge of the opening. Alignment of the edges of the opening and the sleeve band can be maintained by ply aligners during attachment. In another example, a garment holding system includes a garment holder that can receive a garment and a band positioning system includes a band guide that can receive a band. Edges of the opening of the garment and the band can be controlled and maintained with ply aligners of the band positioning system.

  • Patent number: 11436764
Abstract: To dynamically re-color scalable graphic images in web applications, a server may send an image filename to a web application operating on a client device. Before displaying the image, the client device may send a request back to the server identifying the image and providing color codes for the image. The server may load an image file for the identified image and replace generic placeholders in the image file with the color codes sent from the client device. The re-colored image file may then be sent back to the client device for display. The server may receive subsequent requests to re-color the image using different color codes in response to user inputs at the client device, such as clicking or hovering over the image.

  • Publication number: 20220252061
Abstract: This invention concerns a contractile device. The device includes a body, which has a wall including a tessellation of elements. The body is deformable through pressurisation of fluid within the body between a first, extended state and a second, contracted state in which the axial length of the body is reduced and the internal volume increased compared to the first, normal state. The tessellation of elements includes a series of protruding and intruding formations which are arranged such that the body remains substantially cylindrical through its deformation between its normal and deformed states. The protruding and intruding formations of the tessellation of elements may be in the form of protruding and intruding pyramids.

  • Publication number: 20220254521
Abstract: In a plasma compression fusion device, two electrical grids used to ionize the Deuterium gas (or other fusion fuel in gaseous form). The two grids are kept at different oppositely charged voltages so as to electrostatically accelerate either electrons or ions into the plasma core, depending on desired physical effect. Each of the grids are driven by an electrical signal—one positive and one negative. The two signals are controlled by a spread spectrum modulator that outputs the desired electrical signal, which is modulated by the spread spectrum modulator under the control of a pseudo random (PN) sequence. To achieve the desired electrical effect, the two signals must be matched exactly in phase and amplitude. One signal, e.g., the positive signal, is controlled by a PN sequence from outside the device, whereas the opposite signal is controlled by a PN sequence built into the device.

  • Patent number: 11403829
Abstract: Users can view images or renderings of items placed (virtually) within a physical space. For example, a rendering of an item can be placed within a live camera view of the physical space. A snapshot of the physical space can be captured and the snapshot can be customized, shared, etc. The renderings can be represented as two-dimensional images, e.g., virtual stickers or three-dimensional models of the items. Users can have the ability to view different renderings, move those items around, and develop views of the physical space that may be desirable. The renderings can link to products offered through an electronic marketplace and those products can be consumed. Further, collaborative design is enabled through modeling the physical space and enabling users to view and move around the renderings in a virtual view of the physical space.
