Abstract: Content for distribution to a terminal device is selected in accordance with a distribution condition set to each piece of content. A comparison process between an increased gradient value of a display count and an ideal gradient value of the display count of the content selected for distribution to the terminal device is executed. The increased gradient value of the display count is a gradient value from a start of the distribution until a certain time point before an end of a distribution period. The ideal gradient value of the display count is a gradient value obtained based on a distribution period length and a target display count. The distribution condition is adjusted such that a distribution frequency of the content is varied according to the comparison result.

Abstract: A method and system of mediating an exchange of a series of digital messages between parties to ensure compliance with a predetermined messaging protocol associated with a transaction process. The mediation is achieved via an intelligent gateway located between an internal and an external communication network and comprises a component for monitoring messages passing through the gateway and determining whether the messages comply with or deviate from the predetermined messaging protocol, which may be coded in a global description language. The monitor may act passively and provide a notification of the degree of compliance or may actively block non-compliant messages. A mechanism is provided for replaying and fixing non-compliant messages. A system comprising several intelligent gateways includes a router for routing messages to a particular intelligent gateway according to destination.

Abstract: A computer implemented method and system for analysing and identifying the flow of internal and external communications in a large enterprise by collecting and analysing data relating to the information flow. The system comprises: a capture component adapted to capture communication activity data comprising communication data relating to the type of communication and organisational data relating to parties participating in the communication, the capture component further adapted to transform the communication data into a common format in dependence on the type of communication activity; an analysis component adapted to analyse the transformed data to identify patterns of communications and variances from previous patterns of communications; and, a presentation component adapted to present the data or results of data analysis.

Abstract: A computer-implemented method and system for providing targeted information to a recipient of a personal document by generating the document containing personal information from a first source and promotional information from a second source after selecting the personal document recipient for receiving the promotional information from the second source in dependence on the personal information. Typically, the document will be a payslip and the recipient an employee. Also provided is a computer-implemented engine for managing the personal document providing service, the engine having an interface for receiving personal information; an interface for receiving promotional information; and, a processing system adapted to select the personal document recipient for receiving promotional information in dependence on the personal information, the processing system further adapted to generate data for producing the personal document.

Abstract: In the present invention, we provide a run-time infrastructure that dynamically adapts enterprise content and services in order to maximise their value to the mobile user. The system takes account of changes in both the mobile user's business context, typically represented by their calendar and scheduled tasks, and their physical environment, typically represented by the available QoS. This is used to determine what content to source or services to offer to mobile users.
