A device may determine the electric or a hybrid-electric motor vehicle is charged at one or more charging locations. The device may determine a cost associated with electricity applicable at the time of the charging at the one or more charging locations. The device may determine a billing period associated with the electricity cost, wherein the billing period is at least one month. The device may cause the prediction of electricity costs expected to arise by an end of a current billing period as a result of charging the vehicle at the one or more charging locations. The device may display, on a user display device, information associated with the prediction of electricity costs.

Abstract: A battery system for an electrically drivable vehicle includes at least one set of battery electronics that delivers a battery voltage, and at least one rechargeable traction battery connected to an input of the set of battery electronics, the traction battery configured for connection to at least one supplementary traction battery connectable in series or parallel to enable the traction battery capacity and/or life to be extended. The battery system may include a traction battery housing having a main compartment configured to receive the traction battery and at least one supplemental compartment configured to receive a modular supplemental traction battery.

Abstract: A driver assistance system supports a driver of a vehicle during a parking procedure. Using the driver assistance system, automatic display and finding an available parking space is performed at a desired destination, automatic transfer to a memory of data relating to the vehicle position is performed after carrying out the parking procedure, wherein these data are retrievable by a mobile communication device of the driver to relocate the vehicle, and automatic payment for the parking procedure is performed before the vehicle drives out of a parking area, which has the parking space.
