  • Publication number: 20240173905
Abstract: A plastics processing plant and method for avoiding parallel occurrence of load peaks of a plastics processing machine, in particular an injection-molding machine and at least one production resource. The injection-molding machine, which includes a temperature control unit, hot runner system, cooling unit, flow controller, granule dryer, mold dryer, metering device, robot, and automation system, is connected via an electrical line or data line to the at least one production resource directly or indirectly via an external work cell controller. The injection-molding machine or the external work cell controller transmits one or several control signals or internal operating states with increased load requirement, to the production resource so that the production resource performs a load shift, load reduction or load shedding at the times of the increased load requirement of the injection-molding machine.

  • Publication number: 20220260966
Abstract: A method for the representation and operation of production resources, in particular for the plastics-processing industry, on one or several central operating units, preferably a computer or control station. Symbols for the production resource connected via a network or the management tools associated with the production resource, such as configuration systems or database systems, are present and selectable on the central operating unit, wherein after selection of one or several symbols on the screen of the operating unit, the visualization, in particular the visualization component from the associated production resources or management tool is started or executed on the operating unit. Subsequently, complete representation and operation is possible through the cooperation of the visualization software available at the operating unit and a control software running decentrally in the production resources.
