  • Publication number: 20230402973
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to an inspection system, in particular a mobile inspection system, for outdoor inspection of photovoltaic modules in situ, the inspection system comprising a movable detector unit and a processing unit. The detector unit is configured to obtain, when positioned at a user-controllable position spaced apart from a photovoltaic module of a photovoltaic power system, luminescence data from a light-receiving surface of said photovoltaic module. The detector unit may include a light source, in particular a laser source, configured to emit an illumination beam, means for selectively directing the illumination beam onto respective portions of the light-receiving surface so as, when the illumination beam is directed onto a first portion of the light-receiving surface, to only illuminate the first portion while leaving a corresponding first remaining portion of the light-receiving surface unilluminated by the illumination beam.

  • Patent number: 11811752
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present disclosure provide techniques for facilitating a credential-less exchange over a network using a plurality of identifier mapping and member interfaces. The techniques may include initiating the presentation of an enrollment user interface via a client device of a user and receiving selection data indicative of a selection of a service provider instrument from the enrollment user interface. The techniques include generating a matching code for authenticating the user, providing the matching code to a service provider platform, and receiving the matching code from a partner platform. In response to an authentication of the user based on the matching code, the techniques may include generating an UUEK for the user that may be used to replace persistent credentials.

  • Patent number: 11730917
Abstract: Gamma brain stimulation for preventing or treating Alzheimer's disease or sleeping disorders using light or sound is known. A strobing 40 Hz light source has been shown to cause positive effects due to the stimulation. It is an advantage to know the actual dosage of light that enters the person's eyes in order to understand the relationship between dosage and effectiveness. A camera is used to detect the subject's gaze angle, distance, pupil diameter and any other factors that affect the light power that enters the eye. A target dosage is first determined by a medical worker, such as to determine the effects of the exact same dosage on a group of similar persons, such as Alzheimer's patients. With deviations of gaze angle, distance, and pupil size from the ideal, the effective dosage is decreased. The disclosed system adjusts the actual dosage, such as session duration, based on such factors so that the final dosage received by the person is consistent and meets the target dosage.

  • Publication number: 20230240944
Abstract: There is provided a compliance system and kit for patient compliance over an extended period of time and/or for higher numbers of doses. In one embodiment, several dosage packages are physically connected together to make a kit. Such an arrangement ensures a specific dose taking order across the packages so a patient cannot take doses out of order. There is provided a compliance kit comprising: multiple smart packages in a connected kit, each smart package containing a tag for monitoring each medication dose removed by a user; at least one reader configured to read a signal from each tag of each smart package; and a CPU for receiving data from the at least one reader, the data representing the signal from each tag.

Abstract: A method for formation of monolithic nanostructures on an implantable device includes: a. depositing a metal film to a surface of the implantable device; b. heating the metal film for a period of time, such that the metal film transforms into multiple discrete nanoparticles, the multiple nanoparticles thereby forming an etch mask on the surface of the implantable device; c. etching the implantable device such that the surface of the implantable device is etched through the etch mask, thereby forming monolithic nanostructures in the surface of the implantable device; and d. (optionally) removing the etch mask, such as by immersion in an aqua regia solution.

  • Publication number: 20220410932
Abstract: The disclosed computer-implemented method may include monitoring, during a ride provided by an autonomous vehicle (AV), passenger communications between a passenger and a remote agent using an in-vehicle electronic device. The method may further include identifying passenger ride preferences based on a passenger request, and in association with a first occurrence of a ride event. The method may also include providing confirmation, via the in-vehicle electronic device, that the request is being fulfilled, the fulfillment of which causes a change in the passenger's AV experience based upon changes to features of the AV. The method may further include generating, based upon the request, a prediction of passenger ride preferences for the passenger and then, during a subsequent AV ride carrying the passenger, applying the predicted passenger ride preferences to an AV during a second occurrence of the ride event. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.
