Abstract: A prophylactic treatment for Newcastle disease as well as a treatment of Newcastle disease. The methods comprise the step of administering to a bird, an amount of a composition having a first ingredient obtainable from turmeric; a second ingredient obtainable from green tea; an third ingredient obtainable from ginger; and an acceptable carrier. Compositions in accordance with the invention may be employed for the purpose of reducing the incidence of contracting Newcastle disease or reducing the transmissivity of Newcastle disease.
