  • Patent number: 10746632
Abstract: A system for sampling of plant product is provided that comprises a mobile platform, at least one primary bin, and a harvesting subsystem connected to the mobile platform. The harvesting subsystem harvests the plant product as the system traverses a plot and projects it across the length of the primary bin(s) against a back wall of the primary bin(s), whereby the separated plant products collides with the back wall and falls into the primary bin. The system additionally includes at least one sample volumizer connected to the back wall of each primary bin. Each sample volumizer has a specified fixed volume and receives and collects a sample of the plant product, wherein each collected sample collected has the specified fixed volume. The system further includes at least one sample receiving subsystem structured and operable to receive and collect a sample from a respective sample volumizer.

  • Patent number: 10340593
Abstract: Described embodiments provide techniques for controlling a phased array system by a control system including one or more distributed control stations. At least one of the control stations displays a control interface having a status window, a beam window, and a scan window. The control system instructs the phased array system to operate in an operating mode selected from among selectable operating modes displayed in the status window. In the beam window, at least one beam is selected from among selectable beams available to track a target. The control system instructs the phased array system to form the selected beam and assigns the formed beam to (i) track a target detected by the phased array system, or (ii) monitor a selected location. The scan window displays (i) targets tracked by the phased array system, and (ii) beams generated by the phased array system.

  • Publication number: 20160335328
Abstract: A system and methods for providing related content to a user accessing a first application configured to be monitored in a mobile device that includes detecting if the first application is specified in a defined configuration. If the first application is determined to be specified in the defined configuration, data may be retrieved from a predetermined context. Using the retrieved data, content related to the retrieved data may be automatically searched for in a second application, and the searching is performed while the first application is being accessed by the user in the mobile device. The search results are received from the second application; and the user is notified of the search results. The predetermined context may include an identity associated with the first application, a page of the first application, a data field of the first application, and/or a system service of the mobile device.

  • Patent number: 7075661
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for introducing a plurality of optical markers to a field of view, capturing a two-dimensional image of said field of view on an image plate comprising a pixel array, determining a set of marker origin offset values and using said offset values to establish a set of orientation values describing the relationship between the field of view and the image plate are disclosed. These orientation values are used to relate the area of image captured by each pixel in the image plate to the real world. By applying projective geometry, vector analysis and trigonometrical surveys an image analysis is conducted to establish a three-dimensional positional data set describing the three-dimensional position of regions of reflectivity in the captured two-dimensional image. From this data set a three-dimensional model of the field of view can be reconstructed.

  • Patent number: 6759601
Abstract: A check weighing system is provided which can check weigh samples (1) on a production line. The check weighing system comprises a magnet (13) for creating a static magnetic field over an interrogation zone for creating a net magnetisation within a sample (1) located within the interrogation zone and an RF coil for applying an alternating magnetic field over the interrogation zone for causing excitation of the sample (1) within the interrogation zone according to the principles of NMR. The check weighing system also comprises a sensor for sensing the energy emitted as the sample relaxes back to an equilibrium state after excitation as the samples pass through the interrogation zone on a conveyor belt (9) forming part of the production line.
