  • Patent number: 10687458
Abstract: A seeding boot for a seeding apparatus mountable adjacent a soil-opening disc of a tillage implement. The seeding boot including: a boot body mountable at, or adjacent, a lower portion of the soil-opening disc; a seed distributor on the boot body, the seed distributor having at least one seed outlet spaced laterally from the soil-opening disc; a seed inlet, connectable to a source of seeds to be planted, for the seed distributor; and at least one fertiliser distributor, the at least one fertiliser distributor having at least one fertiliser outlet located rearwardly of the soil-opening disc, and downstream of the at least one seed outlet. The seed distributor has a substantially hollow distributor body connected to the seed inlet, and a pair of substantially hollow wings extend substantially laterally from the distributor body and are each provided with a respective one of the at least one seed outlets.

  • Patent number: 10398075
Abstract: A seeding boot, for a seeding apparatus mountable on a tyne, or adjacent a soil-opening disc, of a tillage implement, has a hollow boot body mountable adjacent the lower end of the tyne or lower portion of the soil-opening disc. A seed distributor in the boot body has a seed inlet connectable to a source of seeds; at least one seed outlet spaced laterally from the tyne or soil-opening disc; and at least one fertilizer or chemical distributor located rearwardly of the tyne or the soil-opening disc. The seed outlet(s) are provided at, or adjacent, the distal ends of laterally-extending hollow wings, which extend from the seed distributor.

  • Patent number: 9631505
Abstract: The present invention relates to a device for cooling a wall of a component, where a fluid flow flows parallel to the wall, with at least one inflow duct, the center axis of which being arranged inclined to the plane of the wall, with a groove provided in the wall, into which issues the inflow duct, where a wall of the groove is designed contoured downstream of a discharge opening of the inflow duct and has an inflow edge facing the discharge opening, characterized in that the groove extends on both sides of the discharge opening and adjacent to the inflow edge at an angle to the direction of the fluid flow, and has a narrowing width.
