  • Patent number: 11093967
Abstract: An online system receives information describing a target group of online system users from a third party system and stores the information describing the target group. The online system subsequently uses the target group to select content for presentation to one or more users. For example, users included in the target group are identified as eligible to be presented with content items. Content items are associated with objectives satisfied when a specified interaction with the content item, or with an object associated with the content item, is received. Based on revenue obtained by the online system from presenting content based on the target group as well as interactions satisfying objectives associated with various presented content, the online system determines a monetization value for the target group. Based on the monetization value, the online system determines whether to continue storing the information describing the target group.

  • Patent number: 11065489
Abstract: Adjustable fire protection assemblies and methods are provided. The assembly includes a sprinkler having a body with an outer encasing surface and a deflector supported from the body. An escutcheon having a receiver and a rim surround the fire protection sprinkler to define an aperture between the receiver and the sprinkler. A push-to-connect fitting of the assembly includes a tubular member with an end for connection to a pipe and an internal conduit that receives the sprinkler body. A seal member and a retaining ring are disposed within the tubular member to form an adjustable seal and grip about the sprinkler body. A releasing member translates to disengage the retaining ring from the sprinkler body; and the escutcheon translates with respect to the tubular member in a sliding surface engagement to define an adjustable deflector-to-rim distance between the rim of the escutcheon and the deflector of the sprinkler.

  • Patent number: 11016816
Abstract: A system and methods are disclosed for adding slots to a group of slots for instantiating compute instances. Compute capacity of a computing system of a plurality of computing systems is detected. A first slot and a second slot of the group of slots are determined based on compute instances instantiated on the computing systems. The first slot is associated with a first type of compute instance and the second slot is associated with a second type of compute instance. The first type of compute instance and the second type of compute instance have different computing resource values associated therewith. The first slot and the second slot are added to the group of slots for respectively instantiating the first type and the second type of compute instances.
