  • Patent number: 9162377
Abstract: A sink assembly includes a basin including one or more sidewalls having interior and exterior surfaces, the one or more sidewalls defining an interior and a top opening; a layer of bonding material provided on the exterior surfaces of the one or more sidewalls and extending about the top opening; and a mounting flange coupled to the layer of bonding material and extending about the top opening of the basin.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: March 8, 2013
Date of Patent: October 20, 2015
    Assignee: Bradley Fixtures Corporation
Inventors: Jonathan Ross Sgarlata, Robert Michael Piekarski
  • Patent number: 9157223
Abstract: A lavatory system includes a basin configured to receive at least one faucet, the basin defining a primary drain passage and first and second overflow drain passages; and an overflow adapter configured to be mounted to a rear surface of the basin, the overflow adapter defining an adapter passage such that when the overflow adapter is mounted to the basin, fluid received by way of the first overflow drain passage is directed through the adapter passage between the overflow adapter and the rear surface of the basin and to the second overflow drain passage.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: February 8, 2013
Date of Patent: October 13, 2015
    Assignee: Bradley Fixtures Corporation
Inventors: Scott L. Kempen, Theodore E. Dhein, William L. Haas, Michael D. McLaughlin, Timothy E. Perrin, Robert Michael Piekarski

  • Patent number: 4277689
Abstract: An optical character reader for conversion of information to a machine readable code from a strip of alpha-numeric characters on the face of a document. It includes an elongated document slot along which the document may be hand guided through a predetermined path. Optical viewing means is provided across a scan line intersecting the path of the alpha-numeric characters. A character scanning assembly electronically generates images of each character. Recognition processing means encodes these images into a machine readable code. All of the physical, optical and electronic components are contained within a compact single enclosure.
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 12, 1979
Date of Patent: July 7, 1981
    Assignee: Key Tronic Corporation
Inventors: Robert J. Thomas, Michael Piekarski, Gary B. Morgan, John Rank, William O. Thurman, Donald C. Lerch

Incandescent lamps are utilized to illuminate the document face across the scan line. The usable life of each lamp is extended by providing a constant current source in the operational lamp circuit.
