  • Patent number: 6709310
Abstract: A soft-bodied drink-and-wet doll having a hard head and a hard butt or crotch area, a soft, stuffed body connecting the head and butt areas, and a fluid conduit connecting the mouth in the head and a hole in the butt. The hard butt area avoids liquid “evacuated” by the doll from being absorbed by the soft body portion.

  • Patent number: 6092658
Abstract: A gift package simulating a baby nursing bottle, the package being composed of a cylindrical container housing a miniature doll or other gift and a molded plastic cap that fits on the open mouth of the container. The container is formed of transparent plastic material, the rim of the mouth being rolled to define an annular bead. The cap has an upper section shaped to simulate the nipple-cap ring of a baby bottle, a lower section in the form of a cylindrical stopper that fits into the mouth of the container, and a circular flange at the junction of these sections. Formed on the stopper section is a circumferential array of ledges which are shaped to permit the ledges to slide into the mouth of the container, the upper ends of the ledges being spaced from the flange to define a circular socket therebetween. To put the cap on, the stopper section is pressed into the mouth of the container to cause the annular bead to snap into the socket, thereby latching the cap in place.

  • Patent number: 6030271
Abstract: A baby doll whose torso is defined by a fabric bag having a pair of arm openings, a pair of leg openings and a neck opening. Coupled to the arm openings and extending therefrom are hollow, flexible-plastic arms, coupled to the leg openings and extending therefrom are hollow, flexible-plastic legs, while mounted above the neck opening is a hollow, flexible-plastic head having a neck coupled to the neck opening whereby the arms, legs and head are articulated from the torso bag. Enclosed within the bag is an inflatable bladder which when inflated, erects the torso. The bag is formed of an outer fabric shell having a relatively thick inner liner formed by a layer of soft batting whereby the torso is exceptionally soft to the touch and the baby doll simulates the feel of a real baby not only in regard to the torso, but also with respect to the hollow arm and leg appendages and the head, all of which are soft and compressible.

  • Patent number: 4664396
Abstract: An accessory for a baby doll constituted by a seater module that is combinable with a carriage module. The seater module includes a strap-in rockable cradle for the doll and a bail-type handle therefor which can be set at any desired angle relative to the cradle or disconnected therefrom. The seat module is selectively operable in the following modes: a hand carrier mode in which the handle is upright, making it possible for a child to carry the cradled doll; a car seater mode in which the handle is at an easel angle relative to the cradle so that the module may be rested on a car seat; a table seater mode in which the handle rests on a table surface and the cradled doll is seated adjacent thereto; and a rocker mode in which the handle is removed. When the seater module is combined with the carriage module, the accessory is then capable of functioning in a baby carriage mode or in a stroller mode.
