  • Patent number: 11934544
Abstract: Target data may be associated with a location requirement established by a data owner. A data access module may be used to attempt access to the target data. Location requirement and provenance metadata associated with the target data are obtained. The provenance metadata must be validated, and evidence only approved data access locations identified in the location requirement. A current location of a computing device attempting access to the target data must also meet the location requirement. The computing device is allowed to access the target data only in response to the current location and each location identified in the provenance metadata meeting the location requirement. The provenance metadata is updated to include a new record including the current data access location.

  • Patent number: 7987991
Abstract: A screening machine for a fiber suspension includes a vessel; a rotor disposed within the vessel; and a screen plate positioned in stationary opposition to the rotor. The screen plate includes a plurality of substantially parallel first grooves extending in a first direction and a plurality of substantially parallel second grooves extending in a second direction. The first grooves intersect with the second grooves. The first grooves and the second grooves conjunctively define a plurality of lands and depressions. A plurality of the lands and a plurality of the depressions include a through-hole extending through the screen plate.

  • Patent number: 7819257
Abstract: Device and method for removing heavy contaminants from an apparatus for treating a fibrous suspension. The device includes at least one connection part being coupleable to a heavy contaminants outlet of the apparatus. The at least one connection part includes an inner surface having a polygonal cross section and at least one heavy contaminants outlet.

  • Publication number: 20080054108
Abstract: A pulper having a tank for receiving materials to be shredded and a drive having a rotating hub within the tank. A rotor is fixed to the rotating output of the drive, the rotor comprising an annular rotatable hub and a plurality of vanes projecting generally axially from the hub. Each of the vanes has a contour that is swept back from the direction of rotation, at least adjacent the radially outermost portion thereof. The vanes have a side edge facing an axial direction and a plurality of teeth are provided on the side edge of the vanes adjacent the radially outermost portion thereof for providing rapid shredding of material with a reduced energy requirement.

  • Publication number: 20070199905
Abstract: A method and system provides slushing and cleaning of paper raw materials containing contaminants, in particular of recovered paper. These raw materials are introduced, e.g., into a pulper and mixed with water. An accepted stock is drawn off through a pulper screen, and a partial flow from the pulper reaches a settling container and then a closed screen apparatus with the aid of a pump apparatus. A recirculation flow is recirculated from the pressure line of the pump apparatus into the settling container. This mode of operation increases the operational safety of the slushing system and evens out the stock flows.

  • Patent number: 5333883
Abstract: The invention relates to a stuffing box seal to provide a sealing action between a stationary wall of a housing or the like and a shaft. In accordance with the invention the shaft is provided with a collar, or with a ring or ring flange, which is sealingly connected with the shaft and is such a manner as to prevent relative twist, having an annular surface perpendicular to the axis of rotation of the shaft, against which ring surface box packing bears with a sealing action in the direction parallel to the shaft axis.
