  • Patent number: 11023257
Abstract: Methods, systems, and non-transitory computer-readable media for embedding a secondary application object within a loader application are described herein. In some embodiments, a computing platform may initiate a first iOS application comprising a first name and a first instance of UIApplication comprising an NSObject class. Further, the computing platform may embed into the first iOS application, a second iOS application comprising a second name, a second instance of UIApplication, and a first derived class. Next, the computing platform may generate, based on NSObject and the first derived class, a second derived class. Additionally, the computing platform may generate an iPhone Application (IPA) file comprising the first iOS application wherein the first iOS application comprises the second derived class and the second name. Subsequently, the computing platform may distribute via a communication interface, the IPA file.

  • Patent number: 10208439
Abstract: A pavement marking tape has raised, irregular polygonal relief features with retroreflective elements covering a portion of the surface of the tape. The form of the relief features minimizes shadowing effects. Raised relief features are shaped to increase the visible number of vertical faces and edges of the relief features, which are the most reflective structures, and are oriented toward incident light from an approaching observer to maximize retroreflectivity.

  • Patent number: 9477573
Abstract: A method of monitoring the level of performance of a software application running on a network-attached computing device, comprises monitoring information exchange at least one station on the network; measuring at least two performance indicator metrics, such as delay, jitter, loss, response time, throughput, goodput, and object size; and deriving an indicator parameter from a non-linear combination of the indicator metrics. A transformation may be applied to each indicator metric to obtaining a corresponding derived value, and the derived values then additively combined, to obtain the said indicator parameter. The transformation has a first region in which the derived value depends relatively weakly on the corresponding metric, and a second region, in which the derived value depends relatively strongly on the corresponding metric. A score value may be entered by a user, indicative of the user's perception of the performance of the software application, and compared with the derived indicator parameter.

  • Publication number: 20120240482
Abstract: The disclosed technology relates to a high rise modular structure having a truss structure. The truss structure has four corner columns wherein the columns carrying the load of the building. The columns are adapted to have lifting arms for assembling the structure and plugs for snap fitting the modular units into one another. Once assembled, the modular units are tied to one another using a steel plate/blind rivet system. The modular structure is also capable of having an advanced weather protecting system for when the modular structure is on-site and not yet assembled.

  • Publication number: 20120191818
Abstract: A cache apparatus for a network receives and responds to network file-services-protocol requests from client workstations coupled to the network. The cache apparatus includes a digital memory for storing data transmitted in responding to the network requests. A processing unit executes program instructions. A network interface couples the cache apparatus to the network. The interface includes program instructions, executed by the processing unit, for receiving the requests and transmitting responses thereto. A file-request-service module includes program instructions, executed by the processing unit, for interpreting the requests and generating responses thereto. The network interface transmits file-request-generation module requests to network.
