  • Publication number: 20240328690
Abstract: A vapor compression system includes a compressor including a compression stage for compressing a working fluid, a first heat exchanger downstream from the compressor that receives and cools the working fluid, a second heat exchanger downstream from the first heat exchanger and upstream from the compressor that receives and heats the working fluid, and an accumulator positioned between the second heat exchanger and the compression stage. The accumulator defines an interior volume for containing a vapor phase and a liquid phase of the working fluid, and the accumulator includes an inlet to receive the working fluid from the second heat exchanger and an outlet to allow the vapor phase of the working fluid to exit the accumulator and flow towards the compression stage. The accumulator atomizes the liquid phase of the working fluid into droplets and introduces the droplets into the vapor phase of the working fluid exiting the accumulator.

  • Patent number: 11454684
Abstract: When predicting required component service in an imaging device such as a magnetic resonance (MR) imaging device (12), component parameters such as coil voltage, phase lock lost (PLL) events, etc. are sampled to monitor system components. Voltage samples are filtered according to their temporal proximity to coil plug-in and unplug events to generate a filtered data set that is analyzed by a processor (46) to determine whether to transmit a fault report. A service recommendation is received based on the transmitted report and includes a root cause diagnosis and service recommendation that is output to a user interface (50).

  • Patent number: 6125329
Abstract: A computationally efficient method, system and programmed medium according to the present invention creates highly accurate maps of celestial bodies, spanning multiple UTM zones given sparse control points on the celestial body surface without requiring the existence or synthesis of a mathematical model of the satellite image sensor. The present invention provides an improved method and system for producing orthorectification coefficients needed to produce highly accurate maps of the surface of celestial bodies that span multiple UTM zones.
