Publication number: 20230398825Abstract: A vehicle frame assembly includes a frame bar extending between first and second ends along a first axis. The first end is coupled with a first guide assembly, and the second end of the frame bar is coupled with a second guide assembly. First and second housings are coupled with a frame of a vehicle system. A first actuator system extends between the first housing and the frame bar, and a second actuator system is extends between the second housing and the frame bar. The first and second actuator systems control rotational movement of the frame bar between first and second directions of rotation. Rotating the frame bar in the first direction of rotation moves an axle away from a route, and rotating the frame bar in the second direction of rotation moves the axle toward the route.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 25, 2023Publication date: December 14, 2023Inventors: Jarred Michael Pollock, Shane Michael Moran

Patent number: 11774536Abstract: The ratio of arterial spin labeled (ASL) perfusion to diffusion weighted imaging (DWI) is generally homogeneous in the anoxic/hypoxic injury population. Conversely, the ratio is more heterogeneous in the non-anoxic/hypoxic population. By plotting these ratios in a graphical format in the form of an axial color map of the brain—referred to as a normalized diffusion to perfusion (NDP) ratio colormap—it may be determined whether a patient has suffered from an anoxic/hypoxic injury. Thus, the anoxic and non-anoxic injury patients will have, respectively, homogenous and heterogeneous color maps. Anoxic brain injury patients have a global homogeneously positive relationship between qualitative ASL perfusion and diffusion weighted signal such that areas of restricted diffusion show significantly increased ASL perfusion signal, which may be attributable to BBB integrity.Type: GrantFiled: February 11, 2021Date of Patent: October 3, 2023Assignee: Oregon Health & Science UniversityInventors: Jeffrey Michael Pollock, Ningcheng Li

Patent number: 9156714Abstract: A self contained energy generating system that comprises a galvanic battery and a power distribution system. The energy generating system is used to purify water by using a reverse osmosis device that draws in a source of water and transfers electrolytes to the galvanic battery. Upon contact with the electrolyte, the galvanic battery produces energy by an oxidation-reduction reaction of the cathode and anode and transfers energy to the power distribution system, which in turn provides power to the osmosis device. Additionally, the system includes a hydrogen fuel cell to increase the amount of energy generated and a power storage device for storing excess energy generated. The system also includes a controller which is configured to regulate the overall operation of the system.Type: GrantFiled: February 6, 2015Date of Patent: October 13, 2015Assignee: Concurrent Technologies CorporationInventors: Michel J. Patent number: 8634304Abstract: An Ethernet cable used with an Ethernet test-set allows a single connection to an Ethernet port of a network element while maintaining individual connections to separate ports on the test-set. The far-end of the signal path is a single Ethernet cable port having its transmit and receive pins interconnected. The far-end port interconnections cause a test signal which has traveled to the far-end port to be returned to the test-set and to be receive in a test-set port other than the originating port Two signal paths can be simultaneously tested with the same test-kit. Interconnections between the test-set ports by way of the cable maintain a “no-signal”alarm disabled, which otherwise would be energized because there is no signal being received in the port from which the test signal originated.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2009Date of Patent: January 21, 2014Assignee: Verizon Patent and Licensing Inc.Inventors: Jeffrey Motter, Steven Franks, Michael Pollock, Don Bodge

Patent number: 8491025Abstract: A method for operating an electric crane, comprises the steps of activating a magnet controller to cause a current to flow through a magnet for creating a magnetic field about the magnet for securing a load to the magnet, receiving a feedback input value at a logic controller from a device associated with the electric crane, in response to the received feedback input value at the logic controller, receiving a command value at the magnet controller from the logic controller, and in response to the received command value at the magnet controller, modifying the current flow from the magnet controller to the magnet to change the magnetic field about the magnet. A system is also disclosed.Type: GrantFiled: February 5, 2008Date of Patent: July 23, 2013Assignee: Edw. C. Levy Co.Inventors: Michael Pollock, Fred Kahl

Publication number: 20110095767Abstract: An Ethernet cable for use with an Ethernet test-set which allows a single connection to an Ethernet port of a network element while maintaining individual connections to two separate ports on the test-set, thereby allowing a successful test of a signal path in an Ethernet network to be conducted when the far-end of the signal path is a single Ethernet cable port having its transmit and receive pins interconnected. The far-end port interconnections cause a test signal which has traveled to the far-end port to be returned to the test-set and, in view of the cable configuration, to be received in a test-set port other than the port from which the signal test signal originated. Test-sets do not permit test signals to be returned to ports from which they originate. In an embodiment, two signal paths can be simultaneously tested with the same test-kit.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 23, 2009Publication date: April 28, 2011Applicant: VERIZON PATENT AND LICENSING INC.Inventors: Jeffrey MOTTER, Steven FRANKS, Michael POLLOCK, Don BODGE
