Abstract: The present invention is directed towards a method of manufacturing a security sheet (11) for displaying personal data and a security sheet (11) formed by such a method. The method comprises heating a plastic substrate (14) to an at least softened state. The method further comprises applying a resin (8) to a first and/or second outer surface (15, 16) of the plastic substrate (14) such that the resin (8) fuses with the plastic substrate (14) during the heating step to form at least one raised structure (25). The present disclosure is also directed towards a security document (10) comprising such a security sheet (11) and an apparatus (30) for manufacturing the security sheet (11).

Abstract: A security booklet has a cover foldable about an axis; a set of page sheets stitched together along the axis about which they can be folded to define a set of pages, wherein each page sheet is formed of a single fibrous sheet; wherein one part of one of the page sheets laterally offset from the axis is adhered to the cover, while another part of the one page sheet can be folded separately from the cover and the other pages about the axis.
