  • Publication number: 20220303611
Abstract: A method includes setting up a connection between a first application on a first device and a communication service on the first device, using an identification which is assigned to a second application, setting up a connection between the second application, which is executed on a second device, and the communication service, using the identification, setting up a communication channel between the first application and the second application via the communication service, and receiving, by the second application, a first message from the first application, wherein the first message designates a third application to be executed on the second device and/or a first service of the third application to be executed on the second device.

  • Patent number: 11330040
Abstract: A method for transmitting messages from a server to a client in an internet transmission system includes: (a) the client sends to the server a request for transmitting a picture file, (b) in response to the reception of the request the server generates a picture file with a first content, in case that no message is available for the client, and delays the transmission of the picture file to the client for a time interval, (c) in response to the reception of the picture file with the first content, the client again sends a request for sending (transmitting) a picture file, (d) the steps (a) to (c) are repeated till, upon the last request, a message is available at the server for transmission to the client, (e) the server transmits, in response to the last request of the client, the picture file with a second content, (f) in response to the reception of the picture file with the second content, the client then sends a request for transmitting the message, (g) in response to the reception of the request for tran

  • Patent number: 10305965
Abstract: Method for executing applications on electronic devices, wherein a first application (11) on a first electronic device (21) controls the execution of a second application (12) on a second electronic device (22), and a first server (31) provides an environment for executing the second application (12), wherein the method includes the steps of: executing the first application (11) on the first electronic device (21); initiating the execution of the second application (12) by the first electronic device; coupling of the first electronic device (21) to the second electronic device (22); providing the environment for executing the second application (22) by the first server (31); and executing the second application (12) on the second electronic device (22).

  • Publication number: 20110086367
Abstract: The present invention uses the potency and efficacy of human glycoprotein-A repetitions predominant protein (GARP), the gene of which is located on chromosome 11q13-11q14 in the reprogramming of antigen-specific effector T-helper cells, which are CD4+, towards a regulatory pheno type of pre-determined suppressor activity. In contrast to the known regulatory protein Foxp3 that only induces an incomplete regulatory phenotype without suppressor function, GARP is more efficient in inducing suppressor activity. Further, the use of GARP in the manufacture of pharmaceutical compositions is provided, allowing the production of antigen-specific Treg-cells, having a predetermined suppressor activity for a specific antigen.

  • Publication number: 20050277392
Abstract: A method for the power-saving control of a receiving device 1, in particular for an access control system for an automobile, is disclosed wherein in an inquiry mode it is determined in response to a control signal Sa whether a receive signal Sr to be processed is supplied by a receiver unit 7 of the receiving device 1 to a controller 3 of the receiving device 1. The receiver unit 7 and the controller 3 are, in response to the control signal Sa, simultaneously switched from a power-saving sleep mode in each case to an active mode in each case.
