  • Patent number: 11948017
Abstract: Examples described herein relate to a graphics processing apparatus that includes a memory device; and a central processing unit (CPU). In some examples, the CPU is configured to: execute a producer to issue graphics command application program interfaces (APIs); execute a driver to translate graphics command APIs into executable instructions; and based on an idle state of the producer, execute a command translation code segment of the producer to translate graphics command APIs into executable instructions. In some examples, the execution unit is coupled to the memory device, the execution unit to execute one or more of the executable instructions. In some examples, the producer includes multiple portions such as application code, graphics pipeline runtime code, and command translation code segment.

  • Patent number: 8491903
Abstract: Isolated, monoclonal, human, anti-?-amyloid antibodies are provided which bind to dimeric forms of Ab with higher affinity than to monomeric forms of Ab and when bound to an A? polypeptide comprising A?(21-37) shield A?(21-37) from proteolytic digestion. The antibodies were shown to inhibit fibril formulation and reduce plaque size in vivo and to not bind brain vessel walls. Accordingly, the antibodies are useful in human and veterinary medicine for the treatment and prophylaxis of Alzheimer's disease and other neurodementing diseases. Methods of detecting or measuring the progression of a neurodementing disease also are provided.

  • Patent number: 7963601
Abstract: Multiple vehicle seats are disclosed with active head restraint systems that receive an input force from an occupant during an impact by a torso support, which consequently actuates a linkage that translates a head restraint upward and forward to the head of the occupant. In one embodiment, the torso support has a translatable connection with the seatback frame and another translatable connection with the linkage. In another embodiment, a torso support is pivotally connected to a pair of links which are each pivotally connected to the frame. In yet another embodiment, the seatback frame includes a structural wire, which provides pivotal connections for two of the links of the linkage.
