  • Patent number: 9641987
Abstract: To ensure that multicasts from access points sent in response to periodic beacons reach a variety of listening clients that may have longer sleep intervals than an interval between beacons, this disclosure describes systems, methods, and apparatus for multicasting bursts of frames where a burst number is selected so as to be equal to or greater than a range of common sleep intervals. Further, where multicast frames are re-multicast according to known protocols, the repeated bursts can be offset from the re-multicast start time suggested by the protocol, in order to increase a likelihood that clients with especially long sleep intervals receive the multicast frame.

  • Publication number: 20160145748
Abstract: High speed cathodic protection control systems and methods provide for the delivery of deliver electrical current to a group of metal structures, such as well casings, in a sequential manner to prevent corrosion. A plurality of relays allow electrical current to flow from a power supply to subsets of the group of metal structures. The flow of electrical current is controlled by a microntroller which controls the relays to allow delivery of the electrical current at high speeds for short periods of time from the power supply to subsets of the group of metal structures in a sequential manner.

  • Publication number: 20060101687
Abstract: An apparatus for retaining and selectively tensioning a sheet material display on a billboard which includes a base plate, a handle connected to the base plate, a draw bar operationally associated with the handle, a spring detachably connected to the draw bar, and a chain with one end connected to the spring and the other end capable of being detachably connected to the sheet material display. The draw bar is selectively positioned about the handle in at least two different positions to exert a different amount of tension to the sheet material display when the handle is place in a sheet material display tensioned position.
