    Abstract: A convertible air cleaner adapted for use in a tower or non-tower orientation including: a housing defining an interior chamber; an air filter disposed in the interior chamber; an air inlet through a first outer face of the housing; and an air outlet through a second face of the housing is described. In the air cleaner, the air inlet is disposed substantially opposite the air outlet, and the air cleaner is adapted to create an airflow between the air inlet and the air outlet when the air cleaner is in a tower or a non-tower orientation.
