  • Patent number: 11939714
Abstract: Various examples are provided related to attachment of bands about a garment opening. In one example, among others, a sleeve band can be attached to a garment by loading the sleeve band on a band guide, aligning an opening of a garment over the sleeve band, and attaching the band to the garment along the edge of the opening. Alignment of the edges of the opening and the sleeve band can be maintained by ply aligners during attachment. In another example, a garment holding system includes a garment holder that can receive a garment and a band positioning system includes a band guide that can receive a band. Edges of the opening of the garment and the band can be controlled and maintained with ply aligners of the band positioning system.

  • Patent number: 7134758
Abstract: The privacy screen for laptop computer is an expandable hood that may be removably attached to a notebook computer. The privacy screen has an elastic fabric cover secured around an expandable frame. The frame has a plurality of telescoping rods attached to connector pieces using ball and socket joints, which allow the frame to expand concurrently in multiple directions. The screen may be assembled before sale, in which case the screen uses a fixed number of pieces in its frame and the fabric cover is permanently secured to the frame, or provided as a kit, in which cut-out sections of the fabric cover allow the end user to assemble the telescoping rods and connecting pieces as desired. The frame may be secured to the laptop using spring-biased clips.

  • Publication number: 20030232595
Abstract: A wireless repeater for repeating a wireless signal without necessarily transforming the wireless signal is provided. The wireless repeater includes a plurality of external antennas, each external antenna configured to operate within one or more wireless frequency bands. The wireless repeater includes a plurality of internal antennas, each internal antenna configured to operate within one or more wireless frequency bands associated with the external antennas. An amplifier unit is connected to the external antennas and internal antennas. The amplifier unit is configured to identify a frequency associated with an incoming wireless signal from within a plurality of wireless frequency bands. The amplifier unit also determines a signal strength for the incoming wireless signal and adjusts the signal strength of the incoming wireless signal to compensate for a loss in signal strength between the external antennas and the internal antennas.
