Abstract: A batter template system and related methods of forming custom pancakes. The batter template system can include one or more template mats made from flexible, non-stick materials that are suitable for use with food and can accommodate conventional cooking temperatures. The template mat can have thermal properties allowing for rapid heating and can be non-perforated. Each template mat can include a permanently etched design on one or both sides of a non-stick sheet. The template mat can be sized and shaped to fit onto a cooking surface of a countertop griddle, cooking pan or even range top surface. One or more pancake batters can be traced or otherwise applied to the etched design to form a pancake depicting a visual design element.

Abstract: A deep fryer and related methods of frying a whole turkey in a reduced cooking oil volume. A frying basin can have a rounded profile avoiding dead spaces within the frying basin. The frying basin can include a recessed channel at a bottommost portion of the frying basin to accommodate a heating element, such that the heating element does not project above a floor of the frying basin. The deep fryer can have a rotisserie assembly for mounting and rotating the whole turkey such that only a lower half of the whole turkey is submerged within the cooking oil at any one time. The deep fryer can include a kick-stand feature that allows a user to lower and raise the rotisserie assembly including the whole turkey using only one hand such that a user need not lean over or otherwise put their hands or body above the frying basin.

Abstract: A slow cooker having a cooking vessel, a handle assembly and a lid assembly whereby the handle assembly rotatably locks the lid assembly over the cooking vessel and related methods of use. The handle assembly is rotatably positionable between a lowered position wherein a user can rotatably manipulate the lid assembly between open and closed positions relative to the cooking vessel and a travel position whereby the handle assembly rotatably locks the lid assembly in a sealed, closed position relative to the cooking vessel. The handle assembly can include single or dual handle configuration that allow a user to carry the slow cooker with the handle assembly in the travel position. The lid assembly can include a removable utensil tray that allows for one or more kitchen utensils to be retained by a flexible resilient member as the slow cooker is carried in the travel position.

Abstract: A heated air popcorn popper provides easy access and clean up through the use of a detachable popping pitcher. The detachable popping pitcher defines an interior popping volume in which heated air is used to cause unpopped kernels to pop and form popped popcorn. The detachable popping pitcher includes a pitcher handle allowing a user to grasp and manipulate the popping pitcher when selectively detaching and attaching the popping pitcher to the popcorn popper. The detachable popping pitcher is completely removable from a popper housing such that loading unpopped kernels into the popping pitcher is simplified and the user need not be concerned about access being awkward or limited. The detachable popping pitcher can be fully removed from the popper housing following popping such that any remaining unpopped or popped kernels can be emptied from the detachable popping pitcher and the detachable popping pitcher can be cleaned.

Abstract: A foodstuff stylizing member and related methods for stylizing foodstuff through the use of heat-resistant materials. The foodstuff stylizing member can include a perimeter wall, a side wall, an upper surface and a lower surface. Either the upper or lower surface can be placed directly onto a heated cooking surface, whereby an uncooked food item can be placed onto or poured over at least a portion of the foodstuff stylizing member to form a visual element on a cooked food item.

Abstract: A countertop device and related methods of use in food preparation for rotatably coupling a kitchen utensil to an anchored retention member. The countertop device can include a kitchen utensil having a manipulation end and a retaining end. The retention member can have a retention body defining a suction cup on a mounting surface. The retention member can be anchored to a flat surface using the suction cup. A retaining ball and socket mount can be utilized to rotatably attach the kitchen utensil to the retention member. The kitchen utensil can include a manipulation member and a mounting member capable of positioning a food item there between.
