  • Publication number: 20240127370
Abstract: A dispatch optimization system and virtual power plant can be utilized and controlled in order to support the operations of a power distribution system. For example, upon determining an electrical need, the dispatch optimization system and/or virtual power plant may make an energy adjustment by allocating the energy adjustment among distributed energy resources of a fleet of distributed energy resources in order to achieve the energy adjustment. The dispatch optimization system and/or virtual power plant may determine the allocation among the distributed energy resources based on the economic costs and storage costs to use each distributed energy resource.

  • Publication number: 20210264492
Abstract: A system, method and apparatus for displaying proprietary information within a multi-layer quick response code may be disclosed. An individual may use a unique quick response code scanner within a mobile application on a mobile device to read a quick response code affixed to an item or product. Through the mobile application, the quick response code scanner may read information embedded within the quick response code unique to the mobile application. The individual may be linked to content hosted on or accessed via a web portal associated with the mobile application. The individual may then be presented with information accessed from a variety of data sources, including from sources other than the retailer of the item, or with proprietary information unique to the mobile application provider.

  • Patent number: 11008852
Abstract: A snubber tool can be installed in a downhole tool string to reduce vibration in the downhole tool string. The snubber tool includes two compliance components having different stiffness properties and pre-compression and a drive washer that selectively applies further compression to the compliance components in response to external forces acting on the snubber tool. The compliance components retain their initial pre-compression under external loading of the snubber tool.

  • Patent number: 10105625
Abstract: An apparatus for extending turndown in a gas-liquid separator is presented. The apparatus includes a first mist extractor with a first operating range and a second mist extractor with a second operating range. The mist extractors can be generally of the same type, with the second operating range being different than the first operating range. A gas stream containing entrained liquid droplets flows through the first mist extractor and then through the second mist extractor. Each mist extractor coalesces and captures the liquid droplets within its own operating range, expanding the overall operating range of the separator. Additional mist extractors may be added to cover any gap between the first and second operating ranges.

  • Publication number: 20180276741
Abstract: In various embodiments, a method and system for staging equipment rentals is given. In association with an equipment rental facility, a specified function is identified to be performed, such as loading an equipment asset on a vehicle. Parameters associated with an equipment rental reservation are identified and assigned a value. Based on the values so assigned, staging activities can be developed and modified, determined by a rule-based mechanism. Adjustments can be made to the nature, scope and timing of staging activities based on changes in the value(s) of reservation parameters.
