Publication number: 20240120112Abstract: A method includes associating beats with respective initial beat classifications using a trained machine learning model and based on electrocardiogram data. Using an encoder machine learning model, latent space representations of the electrocardiogram data are generated for beats associated with the initial beat classifications. Similar shaped beats are associated with each other based on the latent space representations.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 3, 2023Publication date: April 11, 2024Inventors: David R. Engebretsen, Benjamin A. Teplitzky, Jake Matras, Michael Thomas Edward McRoberts

Patent number: 11443353Abstract: A system is disclosed that comprises a presentation system configured to receive a request from a wireless communication service customer and initiate an application programming interface call to an action tool. The system also comprises the action tool that accesses and analyzes customer analytics data and determines and sends potential actions based on the analysis to a rules engine. The system additionally comprises the rules engine that applies rules to select and send an action to the presentation system. The presentation system is further configured to generate and provide a customized GUI comprising a selectable button corresponding to the action to a display of an electronic device associated with the customer. The system further comprises a provisioning system configured to provision the customer with a different wireless communication service plan in response to the electronic device receiving an input to the customized GUI indicating selection of the selectable button.Type: GrantFiled: October 23, 2020Date of Patent: September 13, 2022Assignee: Sprint Communications Company L.P.Inventors: Sean L. Davis, Michael R. Edwards

Publication number: 20020135979Abstract: A two phase cooling module for electronic components includes the plurality of layered laminate sheets (204a-204n) interposed between a first cover (200) and second cover (202). The layered laminate sheets (204a-204n) define walls of a vapor/liquid cavity. A support member (208), non-integral with the plurality of layered laminate sheets (204a-204n), is operatively connected to at least one of the first and second covers (200,202). A method of making a two phase module includes forming the first cover, second cover, and window shaped laminate sheets by punching sheets of aluminum. The method also includes forming alignment apertures in each of the plurality of window-shaped laminate sheets, stacking the plurality of window-shaped laminate sheets on a cover using the alignment apertures, and placing the other cover on the resulting stack of window shaped laminate sheets to form an enclosure assembly defining the vapor/liquid cavity.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 20, 2001Publication date: September 26, 2002Applicant: MOTOROLA, INCInventors: Kurt A. Estes, Michael R. Edwards

Patent number: 6007277Abstract: The present invention relates to a portable electric drill having a rotatable magazine containing multiple tool bits from which a single bit may be selected for use. The magazine is in the form of an approximate 120-degree segment of a cylinder with a plurality of open grooves for holding the various bits. The drill includes a Jacobs-type chuck assembly with a bore into which the selected bit is inserted for use. The magazine may be rotated to position any one of the magazine grooves into axial alignment with the bore of the chuck, so that the user may index the magazine to position a selected bit for expulsion from a particular magazine groove into the chuck. The chuck may then be tightened around the selected bit and the electric motor actuated to drive the bit. A cable assembly within the drill housing is operable with an exterior button to be movable between a stored position and a forward position to push a selected bit from a groove on the magazine into the chuck assembly.Type: GrantFiled: February 26, 1999Date of Patent: December 28, 1999Assignee: Orb Industries, Inc.Inventors: Kirk B. Olson, Michael R. Edwards

Patent number: 5211565Abstract: The invention comprises a plurality of stacked planar processing circuit boards surrounded on at least one side by a plurality of memory boards located substantially perpendicular to the planar processing boards, the processing and memory boards connected by orthogonal interconnect modules. The orthogonal interconnect modules allow closely-spaced orthogonal connection of the processing boards to the memory boards. The memory boards are of a densely packed design having a plurality of removeable memory chip stacks located on the memory boards.Type: GrantFiled: March 19, 1992Date of Patent: May 18, 1993Assignee: Cray Research, Inc.Inventors: Nicholas J. Krajewski, Carl D. Breske, David J. Johnson, David R. Kiefer, Kent T. McDaniel, William T. Moore, Jr., Michael R. Edwards, Bricky A. Stephenson, Anthony A. Vacca

Patent number: 5193905Abstract: A mechanism for adjusting the vertical or horizontal aim of a vehicle headlamp includes a rod-like link supported by a slide to move linearly relative to a housing and having an outer end connected to the headlamp. The inner end portion of the link includes a helical thread form which meshes with a second helical thread form on a rotatable driver extending perpendicular to the link. When the driver is rotated, the thread forms coact to advance or retract the link and thereby adjust the headlamp. A plastic bushing snaps onto the driver and into the housing to support the driver for rotation in the housing.Type: GrantFiled: December 13, 1991Date of Patent: March 16, 1993Assignee: Elco Industries, Inc.Inventors: Michael R. Edwards, Arthur R. Fry
