  • Patent number: 10838156
Abstract: A mounting clip can be placed and secured over the exterior surfaces of a package of an integrated optical assembly. The mounting clip includes a top panel, end clips that curl and extend down from end edges of the top panel, an interference tab that extends up from the top panel, and cap clips that curl and extend up from the top panel. The mounting clip is dimensioned such that bends in the end clips press and secure against exterior side surfaces of the package of the integrated assembly. Thus, the mounting clip can be secured to the package of the integrated assembly using an interference or friction fit. A cap on a fiber optic cable that extends from the package can be curled around and secured between the interference tab and cap clips of the mounting clip to secure it during surface mounting.

  • Patent number: 10713615
Abstract: Systems and methods that mitigate inventory overstock of a retail product are provided. The systems and methods receive inventory information for the retail product and determine, according to the inventory information for the retail product, whether a number of stock cover days is greater than a stock cover days threshold. It is also determined, according to the inventory information for the retail product, whether a projected inventory is greater than an overstock units threshold. When the number of stock cover days is greater than the stock cover days threshold, and when the projected inventory is greater than the overstock units threshold, it is determined whether another store location is ordering the retail product, and when another store location is ordering, an overstock rebalancing alert is provided to a user.

  • Patent number: 10655609
Abstract: A method and associated system are provided for removing a drive train component, such as a gearbox, from a rotor shaft uptower in a wind turbine, wherein the component is supported by transversely extending mounting arms at mount locations on the wind turbine frame. The drive train component is supported from above or below and the mount locations. At each mount location, a removal fixture is installed that includes an actuator that moves linearly essentially parallel to the rotor shaft. The mounting arms are simultaneously engaged with the respective actuators, which are controlled to linearly push the mounting arms until the drive train component disengages from the rotor shaft.

  • Patent number: 10634133
Abstract: Electronic systems for controlling submersible pumps are provided herein. In certain configurations, a pump system includes three or more submersible pumps used for pumping fluid from a reservoir, sensors used for generating sense signals indicating a fluid level of the reservoir, and a control circuit for selectively activating the pumps based on the sense signals so as to control pumping of fluids from the reservoir. In certain implementations, the control circuit is operable in a plurality of user-selectable operating modes associated with different pump activation sequences in response to the fluid level of the reservoir rising.

  • Publication number: 20200054558
Abstract: An aerosol preparation assembly includes an entrainment chamber defining an entrainment volume. The entrainment chamber includes a gas inlet port, an aerosol inlet port and an outlet port. The entrainment chamber is configured such that a velocity of a flow of a gas within the entrainment volume is less than a velocity of the flow of the gas within the gas inlet port. The entrainment chamber is configured such that at least a portion of inlet aerosol is entrained into the flow of the gas within the entrainment volume to produce an entrained aerosol flow at the outlet port. The particle selection chamber is configured to receive the entrained aerosol flow and produce an outlet aerosol flow. The particle selection chamber and nozzle are collectively configured such that a volumetric median diameter of the outlet aerosol flow is less than a volumetric median diameter of the inlet aerosol.

  • Patent number: 10465663
Abstract: A method for removing a rotor blade from a wind turbine may generally include installing a blade sock around an outer perimeter of the rotor blade, coupling a support cable to the blade root, lowering the rotor blade relative to the hub using the support cable, coupling at least one pulley cable between the rotor blade and a winch using at least one pulley, moving the pulley cable relative to the pulley to lower the rotor blade relative to the hub, applying a force through the blade sock as the pulley cable is moved relative to the pulley in order to control an orientation of the rotor blade and further lowering the rotor blade to a location on or adjacent to the support surface.
