The arrangement includes a harness and a leg assembly. The harness replaceably supports the backpack having the load on the back of the user. The leg assembly is pivotally mounted to the harness, extends down the legs of the user, and transfers the load of the backpack to the ground by way of the legs of the user while allowing the user to take the steps unhindered.
