  • Patent number: 9555784
Abstract: A braking system for a machine includes a first valve assembly having a first electronically actuated proportional valve, and a second valve assembly having a second electronically actuated proportional valve. The braking system includes a first pressure sensor and a second pressure sensor disposed downstream of the first and second valve assemblies, respectively. The first and second pressure sensors are configured to determine a first pressure and a second pressure of a braking fluid from the first and second valve assembly. The braking system also includes a controller configured to receive a signal indicative of the first pressure and the second pressure of the braking fluid and compare the first pressure and the second pressure. The controller is configured to selectively actuate at least one of the first electronically actuated proportional valve and the second electronically actuated proportional valve to substantially equalize the first pressure and the second pressure.

  • Publication number: 20160265562
Abstract: A hydraulic cylinder assembly having a first portion connected to a first bar. A rod is constrained within a cylindrical recess by a first end and a second end of housing. A maximum travel of a first end of the rod within the housing defines a stroke of the hydraulic cylinder assembly. At least two structures are coupled with each other along a first edge and a second edge to form a space therewithin. A second surface of the structures having a first profile being at a first predetermined distance, and a second profile being at a second predetermined distance, from an axis of each of the at least two structures. The second predetermined distance is greater than the first predetermined distance. The structures are mounted over rod proximate to second end of rod to form a collar for limiting the stroke of the hydraulic cylinder assembly of a machine.
