Abstract: An improved trash bag is provided for use in conjunction with trash containers, with the trash bag having formed therein a plurality of compartments, each compartment having an upper portion, a side wall portion, and a skirt portion. Members for closing each compartment are provided. Additionally, cooperative handle members may be disposed on opposite sides of the skirt portion. Modified embodiments of the invention are disclosed wherein the trash bag has its compartments arranged in more than one row, or in configurations adaptable to containers other than of a square or roughly rectangular configuration.
