Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads, golf clubs, and methods to manufacture golf club heads and golf clubs are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion made from a first material with a first density and having an interior cavity, a toe portion with a toe portion edge, a heel portion with a heel portion edge, a front portion, a back portion with a back wall portion including a back opening portion, a top portion with a top portion edge, and a sole portion with a sole portion edge. A back cover portion made from second material with a second density different from the first density is coupled to the body portion to close the back opening portion. The back cover portion includes a port extending through the back cover portion. A filler material is injected into the interior cavity from the port. A mass portion is inserted into the port to close the port. The mass portion made from a third material with a second density greater than the first density.

Abstract: Examples of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a golf club head may include a body portion having a sole portion with a set of weight ports. Each weight port may have a first section and a second section. Each weight portion from a first set of weight portions may be adhered to the first section of a corresponding weight port by epoxy. Each weight portion from a second set of weight portions may be fastened to the second section of a corresponding weight port. At least a portion of the weight portions of the first set of weight portions may be interchangeable. At least a portion of the weight portions of the second set of weight portions may interchangeable. Other examples may be described and claimed.

Abstract: Embodiments of golf club heads and methods to manufacture golf club heads are generally described herein. In one example, a set of golf club heads includes a plurality of golf club heads with ach golf club head having a distinct loft angle ranging from 19.5° to 47°. Each golf club head produces a loudness as a result of striking a golf ball at a predetermined golf club head speed. The loudness is in sone units and is based on a sound pressure measurement performed at a predetermined sampling rate and taken for a fixed duration of time with a microphone placed directly above the golf ball at a fixed vertical distance. For a golf club head speed of 80 mph, the loudness of each golf club head ranges from 82.58 to 92.76 sones and is inversely related to loft angle. For a golf club head speed of 85 mph, the loudness of each golf club head ranges from 86.85 to 97.07 sones and is inversely related to loft angle. For a golf club head speed of 90 mph, the loudness of each of golf club head ranges from 92.90 to 101.

In one example, a body portion of a golf club head may include a cavity having an opening and an internal structure defined by a wall portion and a base portion. A hosel portion may include an insert portion and a neck portion extending therefrom. The hosel portion may be attached to the body portion by an interference fit between the neck portion and the opening of the cavity. The insert portion may be received inside the cavity and may be spaced apart from the internal structure of the cavity. A space between the insert portion and the internal structure of the cavity may be partially or entirely filled with an adhesive to hold the hosel portion in place.
