  • Patent number: 6865073
Abstract: A panelboard having an enclosure includes at least one busbar having a plurality of electrical distribution connection points, and a current transformer module having a current transformer integral with and in signal communication with each of the busbars. A signal path is associated with and in signal communication with each current transformer for communicating a signal therefrom. In application, a load current passing through each of the busbars within the panelboard results in a signal, representative of the associated load current, at the associated current transformer and signal path.
