  • Patent number: 6920648
Abstract: A disposable, deodorant and splash proof urine dispersing device for placement in a urinal including a framework made of scented plastic material with a horizontal segmented supporting base and a central raised housing. The supporting base includes a plurality of perforated flexible segments and a central bottom frame with a central opening aligned with an outlet or drain in the urinal. The opening is surrounded by the multiple segments such that the device can flex and adapt to urinals of different sizes and designs. The central raised housing includes a horizontal or inclined top member and an upstanding peripheral wall connecting the top member with the central bottom frame in the supporting base. The peripheral wall includes flush relief openings and tapered for easy unit stacking. The top member includes a frame with a plurality of spaced parallel rods having a unique configuration for dispersing urine flow with reduced back splashing toward the user of the urinal.

  • Patent number: 6269490
Abstract: A deodorant and urine dispersing device for placement in a urinal and including a receptacle mounted on a flexible base pad having an opening for alignment with the outlet opening in a urinal and including vertically spaced urine dispersing filters each of which includes a plurality of rod-like members oriented in spaced, parallel relation with the rod-like members in the upper dispersing filter being parallel to the path of urine flow and the rod-like members in the lower dispersing filter being perpendicular to the rod-like members in the upper dispersing filter. Each of the rod-like members have a generally cylindrical upper surface and a lower edge defined by downwardly converging surfaces forming a V-shaped configuration with the lower apex defining a narrow edge to reduce capillary action and reduce splashing of urine when it engages the dispersing filters.

  • Patent number: 4759337
Abstract: A bow is provided including a rigid central portion and opposite end flexive limbs. The central portion defines a handgrip extending longitudinally of the central portion and a sight window spaced slightly from the handgrip bound by peripheral thin plate portions supporting the corresponding limb from the handgrip. The window is elongated longitudinally of the central portion and gradually tapers in width toward the corresponding limb and more sharply tapers in width toward the handgrip. The window is provided with an arrow rest incorporating a central post and at least one transverse rod including an outer end mounted for adjustable longitudinal shifting and an inner end closely adjacent and to one side of the upper end of the post. The adjacent ends of the post and rod include hair tufts for engaging an arrow in the rest position.

  • Patent number: 4086904
Abstract: An elongated horizontal body is provided including opposite end portions. One end portion of the body includes an anchor portion adapted to be engaged and releasably gripped by a hand release and the other end portion of the body includes an upstanding bore formed therethrough for receiving the portion of an associated bow string closely adjacent the nocking point on the bow string. The body includes structure whereby it may be retained in its predetermined position on the bow string and a first form of the body includes an upstanding longitudinally extending slot formed therein of a width slightly less than the diameter of the bore and extending from the latter to and opening outwardly of the remote end of the body. A second form of body includes an upstanding L-shaped slot formed therethrough with one leg of the L-shaped slot extending longitudinally of the body and opening into the bore at its free end and the free end of the other leg of the slot opening laterally outwardly of one side of the body.
