Abstract: This disclosure describes methods and compositions for detecting the presence of a Kelch-like protein 11 autoantibody in a biological sample. Also provided are methods of treating subjects with testicular cancer or a premalignant condition and paraneoplastic encephalomyelitis.

Abstract: A method for presenting alert notifications includes identifying an alert condition for one of a master device, a slave device, and a production device. Operational states of the slave device and the master device are determined. For each of the slave device and the master device, upon a determination that the given device is in an idle state, that device is caused to display a notification corresponding to the identified alert condition.

Abstract: An apparatus and corresponding method for providing convection enhanced delivery of bioactive agent to a tissue site. The apparatus involves the use of semipermeable membranes, typically in the form of one or more hollow fibers, together with a source and conduit of solution containing the bioactive agent to be delivered. The use of hollow fiber technology provides an optimal combination of features, including delivery kinetics and distribution, as compared to conventional (e.g., standard needle) type delivery devices.

In a user interface, a display is caused of the identified controls and a preview image of the selected product page.

Abstract: A product preview method for a plurality of selected products populated with a selected plurality of digital images includes causing a display of an image selection control. A digital image is identified that corresponds to a user's manipulation of the image selection control. A display is caused of a preview group containing a plurality of preview images for only those of the plurality of products selected to be populated with the identified digital image.

Abstract: A product option selection method for a plurality of products populated with a selected plurality of digital images includes causing a display of a first option selector and a second option selector. The first option selector corresponds to an additional product related to one or more of the plurality of products, while the second option selector corresponds to a product option for an individual one of the plurality of products. Options are applied to the plurality of products according to a user's manipulation of the first and second option selectors.

A linear actuator assembly raises the cradle up to 27 inches from the floor surface. An onboard battery with an integrated battery charger provides power to the linear actuator. A compact base with swivel casters allows a raised tank to be safely lifted and transported by a single operator. The compact size of the hoist allows it to operate in confined spaces.

Abstract: A digital address filter is provided which converts straight-line and arc analog stroke data into digitized images which comply with Bresenham raster display criteria and can be displayed on a raster scanned monitor or LCD. Data collected over a preselected (M pixel.times.M pixel) spatial window are repetitively matched against a set of pixel template patterns permitted by the Bresenham criteria. After each full-frame iteration, the display pixel(s) corresponding to the best-fit templates are lighted.

Abstract: Preparation of and live bacterial vaccine from selected strains of Escherichia coli. The bacterial cells are treated with dilute formalin solutions (about 0.02 to about 0.08% v/v formalin) for a period to modify the bacteria without inactivation thereof. One preferred strain is EW1 serogroup of 0157. The vaccine has been found particularly effective in preventing the occurrence of enteric colibacillosis in newborn animals. A preferred technique is to vaccinate cows, recover the milk, and continually feed it as a milk replacer to the newborn during the susceptible period.
