  • Publication number: 20230393648
Abstract: Real-world users of an event simulation system can playback a digital representation of an event that is mapped onto a virtual model of a real-world venue to simulate the event being presented at a real-world venue. As the real-world users are viewing this virtual event, these users can virtually interact with the virtual event, for example, move around the virtual event to view the virtual event at various locations and/or modify parameters, characteristics, and/or attributes of the virtual event. Thereafter, the event simulation system can propagate these modifications across multiple real-world users of the event simulation system to allow these real-world users to collaboratively interact with the virtual event.

  • Publication number: 20230316637
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for utilizing non-RAM memory to implement large digital display emulations. An embodiment operates by generating, by an emulator device, a pixel map of a digital display, wherein the pixel map comprises a plurality of pixels representative of a plurality of light emitting elements arranged on a viewable surface of the large digital display. A distance and orientation of a virtual viewer to the viewable surface of the large digital display is generated and the emulator device emulates the large digital display based on the pixel map and the distance and the orientation of the virtual viewer and renders the digital content based on the emulated large digital display.

  • Patent number: 10520300
Abstract: An optical liquid height determination system of the present embodiments includes light sensors capturing different amounts of light, based on level of liquid in the tank that blocks or limits light to particular sensors. The tank is enclosed in a container with a light source and the light sensors are installed on walls of the container. Light emitted by the light source is transmitted to the light sensors by passing through the liquid product, scattered, diffused, diffracted or reflected by the dairy product, through the tank walls which may be transparent or translucent, or from other surfaces in the container within which the tank is enclosed by. The set of electrical signals received from all the light sensors are compared against sets of calibrated signals corresponding to known liquid levels in the tank. The known height corresponding to the nearest set of calibrated signals is determined as the measured liquid height in the tank.

  • Patent number: 10475334
Abstract: An accessible pedestrian pushbutton station. The station includes an articulating rear mounting structure to facilitate accurate positioning of the station on either a curved or flat surface. Additionally, slots in the rear mounting structure allow for minor positional adjustments during installation. The crossing direction arrow is easily repositioned on the front of the station without disassembling the housing. After removing the screw-mounted arrow, the plunger can be turned clockwise or counter-clockwise using only a flat-head screw driver. The plunger is balanced between oppositely biased springs. The spring-balanced plunger indirectly actuates an offset piezo bender using a flexible spring actuator and a second, offset stem bumper. This protects the piezo bender from direct pressure and potential damage. The station includes an internal speaker and the housing includes bilateral sound vents to project the sound emitted by the speaker. Baffles may be inserted in one or both of the sound vents.

  • Patent number: 4438517
Abstract: An interferometrically tuned laser resonator for selectively resonating at desired wavelength or fluorescent line. A dielectric reflector having reflectance characteristics which shift toward shorter wavelengths at incident angles not normal thereto is rotatably mounted at one end of a laser cavity along its axis. Rotation of the reflector permits adjustment of the incidence angle to obtain maximum cavity gain at a desired fluorescent line over adjacent competing lines.
