  • Patent number: 9326430
Abstract: A device for cooling an electronic component in a data center is provided. The device includes a closed loop, a first area, a second area, and a barrier. The closed loop includes a first portion and a second portion. The liquid flows around the closed loop. The first area is configured for dissipating heat from the electronic component in the data center to liquid in the first portion of the closed loop. The second area is configured for removing heat from the liquid in the second portion of the closed loop by receiving ambient air, which moves across the second portion, from outside the data center and configured for outputting the ambient air with the dissipated heat from the second area and the data center. The barrier is configured for preventing the ambient air from entering the first area.

  • Patent number: 8281811
Abstract: A large manipulator, especially a truck-mounted concrete pump, has a boom base that can be arranged on a frame so as to be pivoted about a substantially vertical axis of rotation. The large manipulator has a pendular element, that hangs down as an articulated boom and a control device for controlling the drive units of the axes of articulation and rotation of the articulated boom. The remote control has at least one inclination sensor which is housed in a housing that is detachably fastened on the pendular element. Two inclination sensors are housed in the housing and are bent at an angle of 90° with respect to each other and with respect to an axis that is parallel to the pendular element axis. The housing has a mark indicating the orientation of at least one of the inclination sensors inside the housing.

  • Patent number: 8224577
Abstract: The invention relates to a method for setting up a mobile machine (1), particularly an automatic concrete pump, a mobile crane or a movable elevating work platform. With such a method, the subsurface (28) of a site is analyzed for the properties and/or load-bearing capacity thereof before the machine (10) is positioned there and/or oriented and supported by means of flarable supporting legs (20, 24) in set-up positions (VR, VL, HR, HL) suitable according to the determined subsurface properties and load-bearing capacity. In order to determine an optimized set-up position for the supporting legs (20, 24), geodata (38) of a geographic environment that includes the site is read via a computer in a data memory (44) using a layer of subsurface data (40) that defines the subsurface properties and load-bearing capacity.
