Patent number: 10790898Abstract: A system of optimizing communications of a plurality of wireless mobile units over a ground coverage area includes a plurality of airborne wireless base stations each fixed over a designated portion of the ground coverage area. Each base station can be raised or lowered in in accordance with communications needs of the wireless mobile units registered with each base station. Each base station has at least one antenna that provides a coverage cone below the wireless base station and results in the designated coverage area having a ground size dependent upon altitude. A controller is adapted to receive parameters relating to the communications between the wireless mobile units and the wireless base stations and to determine a desired altitude for each of the wireless base stations to optimize the communications.Type: GrantFiled: March 6, 2020Date of Patent: September 29, 2020Inventors: Idan Bar-Sade, Robert Michael Reagan

Patent number: 10704699Abstract: A valve apparatus and system is provided. The valve apparatus includes a housing having a fluid inlet and a fluid outlet. A support assembly is attached to the housing, the support assembly including a positioning chamber located over the outlet. A diaphragm assembly is moveably attached to the support assembly. The diaphragm assembly includes a piston having one end slideably mounted in the positioning chamber, and a diaphragm attached to the other end of the piston. A sealing element is located about a perimeter of the diaphragm, and a biasing element is arranged to contact the support assembly and the diaphragm assembly, thereby urging at least a portion of the sealing element against the fluid outlet, providing a fluid-tight seal.Type: GrantFiled: October 28, 2016Date of Patent: July 7, 2020Assignee: Vortech Engineering, Inc.Inventors: Gregory Graham, Michael Reagan

Patent number: 8588737Abstract: A rollover management system (RMS) receives and stores rollover data that includes subscriber identification and a balance of the rollover usage units that may be “rolled-over” to offset overage units used by a subscriber in excess of package plan usage units in a subsequent billing cycle. In response to receiving requests, the RMS presents rollover data elements to the requesting entities. The balance of the rollover usage units may be rolled over and measured in at least one of a plurality of billable units and may be shared by the subscriber's multiple communication services. The rollover usage units expire after a predetermined number of billing cycles where the predetermined number may vary between package plans. The RMS receives post-billing data elements to update the rollover data elements. The RMS is further operative to account for and present for review unbilled communication service usage to subscribers.Type: GrantFiled: August 22, 2012Date of Patent: November 19, 2013Assignee: AT&T Intellectual Property I, L.P.Inventors: Cynthia Paige Amato, Audrey L Dibrell, Andre D Jarboe, Andy Kilinski, Robert Loadwick, George Mattackal, Pamela H Millikan, Michael A Reagan, Pamela Roman
