Patent number: 11607637Abstract: A power tool includes a power tool housing including a fluid inlet and a discharge outlet. A motor is supported by the power tool housing. A tool is configured to be moved relative to the housing by the motor. A fan is configured to be rotated by the motor, such that a fluid flow with debris generated by movement of the tool is drawn into the fluid inlet and through the discharge outlet. A filter is removably attached to the power tool housing. The filter includes a filter media configured to separate the debris from the flow of fluid. The filter media includes a collection container configured to store the debris. The filter also includes an opening in the filter media through which the flow of fluid with the debris enters the collection container, and a valve that is moveable between a closed position and an open position.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 2019Date of Patent: March 21, 2023Assignee: MILWAUKEE ELECTRIC TOOL CORPORATIONInventors: Paul Fry, Thomas G. Publication number: 20220351198Abstract: A method for performing a transfer using a blockchain network and a uniform resource locator (URL) includes receiving, by computer program code which is stored on the blockchain network, an address on the blockchain network and tokens or value associated therewith the address for writing a blockchain transaction. The URL is associated with the address and includes key parameters thereof. The computer program code receives, as an automated result of execution of the URL, a cryptographically signed transaction having the key parameters of the address and key parameters of a new address that were generated by the execution of the URL. The computer program code transfers, based on the blockchain network reaching consensus on the transaction, at least part of the tokens or value from the address to the new address as a further automated result of the execution of the URL.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 10, 2021Publication date: November 3, 2022Inventors: Jesse Thomas Seaver, Sacha Tueni, Noah Thorp, Michael Reeder

Publication number: 20220253078Abstract: Systems and techniques are described for monitoring energy use habits of consumers. In some implementations, a method includes obtaining temperature data from a monitored property. An energy model of the monitored property is generated based on the obtained temperature data. The current temperature data is obtained from the monitored property. The current temperature data is provided to the generated energy model to generate a duty-cycle for turning an HVAC system of the monitored property off an on during the on-peak hours. The HVAC system of the monitored property is instructed to cycle off and on during the on-peak hours based on the generated duty-cycle.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 8, 2022Publication date: August 11, 2022Inventors: Alexander Lawrence Reeder, Caspar John Anderegg, Gustaf Nicolaus Maxwell Lonaeus, William Converse Blanchard, Jean-Paul Martin, Benjamin Michael Machlin
