    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure provide an apparatus comprising a delivery tool and a prosthetic valve, the prosthetic valve comprising a first frame, and a second frame coupled to the first frame. The delivery tool comprises a first catheter, a second catheter, and a rod. A steerable portion of the second catheter extends out of the first catheter, and a steerable distal portion of the rod extends out of the second catheter. An extracorporeal rod-controller is operably coupled to the rod such that operating the extracorporeal rod-controller steers the steerable distal portion of the rod. In a delivery state of the apparatus, the prosthetic valve is compressed onto the rod, distal to the distal end of the second catheter, and the apparatus is transfemorally and transseptally advanceable into a left atrium of a heart of a subject. Other embodiments are also described.

A diagnostics manager determines diagnostics packages corresponding to problems described in client device diagnostics requests. Session identifiers are generated and returned with diagnostics identifiers to clients which then provide the session identifiers and diagnostics identifiers to a service manager for session initiation. Diagnostics packages are located, retrieved, and provided back to the client by the service manager that invokes a client-side engine to execute diagnostics packages. Results are provided to the diagnostics system which determines additional packages to be executed by the engine during the same diagnostics session. Further, device-specific tokens are acquired by client devices which execute local diagnostic packages and acquire remote diagnostic packages for execution in the same session.

    Abstract: A prosthetic valve includes a tubular valve body, snares, and an upstream support. A native valve of a heart of a subject is disposed between an atrium and a ventricle of the heart, and has an annulus and leaflets. The prosthetic valve is advanced to the heart while in a compressed state. The prosthetic valve is positioned within the heart such that the snares are disposed upstream of the annulus and leaflets. The snares are expanded radially outwardly upstream of the leaflets. Subsequently, the prosthetic valve is moved in a downstream direction such that the snares become disposed downstream of the leaflets. While the snares remain downstream of the leaflets, the upstream support is expanded within the atrium, and the upstream support is placed against an upstream surface of the annulus. Other embodiments are also described.

An extracorporeal controller (569) is coupled to a proximal portion of the rod, and is operably coupled to the distal portion of the rod. The ring includes hinges, and struts arranged in a pattern of alternating peaks and troughs. The ring circumscribes a central axis. At least one hinge is disposed at each trough. Each strut has a first end-portion and a second end-portion. Each peak is defined by convergence of adjacent first end-portions. Each trough is defined by convergence of adjacent second end-portions. Each anchor has a longitudinal axis. Within the heart, the longitudinal axis of at least one of the anchors is deflected with respect to the central axis, and each of the anchors is driven along its longitudinal axis with respect to the trough and into tissue of the heart. The exhaust fan removes air contaminants from an area. The controller is coupled to the exhaust fan and adjusts the speed of the exhaust fan. The exhaust hood is coupled to the exhaust fan and directs air contaminants to the exhaust fan. The IR sensor is coupled to the controller, detects changes in IR index in a zone below the exhaust hood, and communicates information relating to detected changes in IR index to the controller. The controller adjusts the speed of the exhaust fan in response to information relating to detected changes in IR index. The autonomous ventilation system also includes an alignment laser to indicate a point at which the IR sensor is aimed and a field-of-view (“FOV”) indicator to illuminate the zone in which the IR sensor detects changes in IR index.

    Abstract: The invention provides a device for attaching solar modules that enables an agreeable integration into a roof and which is easy to install. A frame is provided which consists of two lateral frame members, an upper and a lower frame member. Each of the four frame members comprises an area having a rectangular cross section with two long and two narrow sides. The four frame members are interconnected such that the long sides are disposed perpendicular to the main surface of the solar module or the solar cell. It is thereby achieved that the frame is torsion-resistant. Therefore, the solar module can be transported and mounted with comparatively few problems. Such a solar module is attached to a batten of a pitched roof with a projecting portion, in particular by bolting.
