  • Patent number: 12653092
Abstract: A method for operating an autonomous mobile green space processing robot, wherein the green space processing robot includes a drive system for propulsion of the green space processing robot. The method includes: a) monitoring whether a sticking presumption criterion is met, wherein the sticking presumption criterion is characteristic of suspected sticking of the green space processing robot; b) if the sticking presumption criterion is met, operating the drive system for a movement change of the green space processing robot and monitoring whether a sticking confirmation criterion is met, wherein the sticking confirmation criterion is that the movement change does not occur; and c) if the sticking confirmation criterion is met, initiating a sticking countermeasure of the green space processing robot.

Assignee: Andreas Stihl AG & Co. KG
Inventors: Christian Horngacher, Philip Wolf, Alexander Biechl, Alexander Rieger, Christoph Steinlechner, Peter Ritzer, Michael Reitter, Tobias Mueller
  • Patent number: 12479450
Abstract: A method operates a hand-guided processing device having a user-activated operating sensor device with a plurality of different detection positions. The method involves the steps: a) detecting a sequence of activations of the operating sensor device at different detection positions of the plurality of detection positions, and b) when the detected sequence corresponds to a given sequence, calibrating the operating sensor device for at least one detection position of the plurality of detection positions based on at least one of the activations of the detected activations.

  • Publication number: 20230397530
Abstract: A method is provided for operating an autonomous mobile green area maintenance robot. The green area maintenance robot has a maintenance tool, wherein a maintenance height of the maintenance tool is adjustable. The method monitors whether a criterion for being stuck is satisfied, wherein the criterion for being stuck is characteristic of a contact part of the maintenance tool of the green area maintenance robot being stuck, and increases the maintenance height if the criterion for being stuck is satisfied.
