  • Patent number: 11728493
Abstract: An improved or advanced electrically conductive selectively gas permeable anode flow field (SGPFF) design, allowing for efficient removal of CO2 perpendicular to the active area near the location where it is formed in the catalyst layer. The anode plate design includes two mating flow fields (an anode gaseous flow field, and an anode liquid flow field) separated by a semi-permeable separator. The separator comprises a hydrophobic semi-permeable separator for CO2 diffusive gas transport from the liquid side (with acid, water, and CO2) to the gaseous side (allowing for CO2 removal to the atmosphere).
    Type: Grant
    Filed: December 30, 2021
Date of Patent: August 15, 2023
    Assignee: Tennessee Technological University
Inventors: Cynthia Rice, Shadi A. Saeed, Michael Renfro, Antonio Pistono

The anode plate design includes two mating flow fields (an anode gaseous flow field, and an anode liquid flow field) separated by a semi-permeable separator. The separator comprises a hydrophobic semi-permeable separator for CO2 diffusive gas transport from the liquid side (with formic acid, water, and CO2) to the gaseous side (allowing for CO2 removal to the atmosphere).

  • Patent number: 11202386
Abstract: An example modular cable management system, that includes a base to attach to a support structure and a number of cable management modules to attach to the base. The base may include an attachment feature that is to attach to the supporting structure to vertically support the base, and an arm that extends from the attachment feature to which the cable management modules attach. The cable management module may include a clip and a loom. The clip may be attachable to the arm such that the clip is rotatable about a longitudinal axis of the arm and may be removable from the arm. The loom may be attachable to and removable from the clips and configured to hold multiple cables.

  • Patent number: 8382946
Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a paper surface sizing composition, a paper web coated on one or more sides or surfaces with a paper surface sizing composition, and a method for treating one or more sides of the paper web with a paper surface sizing composition to impart benefits relating to one or more of the following properties: (1) brightness; (2) opacity; (3) paper smoothness; (4) print quality; (5) optionally ink dry time (e.g., for ink jet printing where the sizing composition has option); and (6) optionally minimizing or eliminating edge welding (e.g., for paper webs used in, for example, form printing).

  • Publication number: 20050243067
Abstract: A method and system are described of providing for keyboard navigation of a displayable representation of connectable objects. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method of providing for keyboard navigation of a displayable representation of connectable objects includes assigning keystrokes to provide for separately traversing a plurality of connectable objects included in the displayable representation, a plurality of connectors associated with an object, and a link between respective connectors of a pair of connected objects. Each traversal proceeds according to a respective predetermined sequence. The method includes detecting one of the assigned keystrokes. A location cursor is associated with one element of the group of objects, connectors, and link based on an existing association of the location cursor with one of the elements when the keystroke is detected and the predetermined sequence associated with the detected keystroke.
