  • Publication number: 20250102317
Abstract: An indoor location is mapped into a grid comprising grid cells, each cell associated with items or objects detected as being present in the corresponding cell. The grid, grid cells, and linked items and/or objects are generated and updated using an Augmented Reality (AR) algorithm that maps a physical environment into cells and measures distances and directions within the environment relative to each cell. Walking paths (routes) to the items within the indoor location are generated using the grid information. As a user walks a path, the user's position within the indoor location is mapped and tracked to the cells and the path revised based on the user's actual position. A user device provides video via an AR application to track the user's position; a rendering of the position and path are superimposed within the video being viewed by the user on the user-operated device.

  • Publication number: 20230098692
Abstract: When an online ticket is purchased, a record is maintained in a third-party online service; the record does not include the unique serial number of the ticket. The unique serial number is salted and/or hashed to generate a unique cryptographic value, which is stored with the record by the service. When the online ticket is redeemed, the unique serial number is again salted and/or hashed to produce a candidate cryptographic value. The records of the service are searched using the candidate cryptographic value and upon a match, the appropriate matching record is returned to the redeeming entity associated with the ticket by the service as evidence of authentication and as auditing information associated with the original purchased ticket.

  • Patent number: 7128026
Abstract: In a method for controlling the heat in an internal combustion engine for a vehicle with a coolant circuit and actuable devices for influencing the heat balance of the internal combustion engine, wherein a coolant temperature and further operating parameters of the internal combustion engine are recorded, the actuable devices are operated as a function of the coolant temperature and the further operating parameters of the internal combustion engine in such a manner that an output value for determining a control variable is provided by means of a basic characteristic diagram as a function of the rotational speed and the load on the internal combustion engine, and this control value is corrected by means of a controller as a function of the coolant temperature and/or the further operating parameters.
