  • Patent number: 10081370
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for systems for a vehicle. An example system for a vehicle includes a head-up display, a central unit having a circuit, connected to the head-up display, and a recording means for recording first image data of surroundings of the vehicle, wherein the circuit is configured to recognize an object in the surroundings based on the recorded first image data, wherein the head-up display is configured to project an image onto a windshield or onto a combiner of the vehicle, and wherein the circuit is configured to generate second image data for outputting the image and to send the image to the head-up display, to generate a virtual barrier in the second image data, and to position the virtual barrier within the image based on a determined position of the recognized object.

  • Patent number: 10029700
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for vehicle systems. An example system for a vehicle, includes a head-up display, and a central unit connected to the head-up display, wherein the head-up display is configured to project an image onto a front windshield of the vehicle or onto a separate combiner, wherein the central unit is configured to send image data to the connected head-up display to be displayed, to ascertain a position of the user's eyes, to output a symbol within the image data, to ascertain a first virtual point and a second virtual point in a surrounding of the vehicle based on a recorded image of the surrounding and/or a current position of the vehicle, and to position the symbol such that a starting point of the symbol overlaps the first virtual point and an end point of the symbol overlaps the second virtual point in a view of the user.

  • Patent number: 9686626
Abstract: An audio system comprises at least one processor configured to receive multi-channel audio data and comprising a plurality of output channels. Control instructions are established based on preset positions of a plurality of speakers connectable to the output channels and further based on virtual positions of the channels of the multi-channel audio data. The channels of the multi-channel audio data are routed to the output channels based on the control instructions.

  • Publication number: 20150358471
Abstract: Embodiments are disclosed for systems for a vehicle. An example system for a vehicle includes a central unit and an input device, wherein the central unit has a first interface for connecting to a first mobile device and a second interface for connecting to a second mobile device, wherein the central unit is configured to assign the first mobile device to a driver and the second mobile device to a passenger in the vehicle, wherein the central unit is configured to output information on a call directed to the first mobile device, wherein the central unit is configured to detect an input by means of the input device during the outputting of information, and wherein the central unit is configured, based on the detection of the input, to redirect the call to the second mobile device.
