  • Patent number: 12229548
Abstract: Techniques described herein include assessing factors that may affect the quality of software under development by a development team or that may be used to evaluate the health of software already deployed in a computing environment. In one example, this disclosure describes a method that includes collecting, by a computing system, historical information about a plurality of prior development projects; correlating, by the computing system, the historical information with each of a plurality of developers that participated in one or more of the plurality of prior development projects; collecting, by the computing system, information about an application developed by a subset of the plurality of developers; generating, by the computing system and based on the information about the application and the correlated historical information, a predicted outcome for the application; and taking an action, by the computing system and based on the predicted outcome, to prevent the predicted outcome.

  • Publication number: 20250036441
Abstract: A process includes creating, by a kernel of a distributed system, entries in a storage replica table, which are associated with a guest physical memory address. The process includes storing, by the kernel, data in the entries associating the entries with respective versions of content for the guest physical memory address; storing, by the kernel, data in the entries associating the entries with respective stable storage block addresses; and storing, by the kernel, data in the entries associating the entries with respective real physical memory addresses. The process includes, responsive to a read request to read content associated with a first version of the versions, accessing, by the kernel, the storage replica table. The process includes, responsive to the accessing the storage replica table, identifying, by the kernel, a first entry of the entries associated with the first version. The first entry contains data associating the first entry with a first real physical memory address.

  • Publication number: 20250023888
Abstract: A system for a business entity is disclosed that is configured to execute an authorized countermeasure against a malicious actor via a smart contract in response to the system determining that the malicious actor has performed a malicious action. The system determines that a smart contract established between the business entity and an official agency defines an authorized countermeasure to be performed in the event of the malicious action. The system also determines that the malicious actor has performed the malicious action on the business entity. In response to the determination that the malicious actor has performed the malicious action, the system executes the authorized countermeasure with respect to the malicious actor, which may include one or more of a ransomware attack, a malware distribution, a beacon, a Distributed Denial of Service attack, a destruction of data, an encryption of data, a tokenization of data, or a scrambling of data.

  • Publication number: 20250019161
Abstract: The modular and adjustable system repairs structural damage or proactively prevents future damage to the upright frames of industrial pallet racks. The system includes several components to repair damage to pallet racks having a variety of shelf and upright connection types at various heights and depths. An angular adjustable strut may be fitted between a replacement column and the floor to provide additional stability without overloading a repaired component of the pallet rack. Additionally, a cuff provides further adjustability for small differences between manufacturers or field installation conditions such as shimming at the floor. In combination, the system transfers various forces on the pallet rack below the original repair back to the floor.

  • Patent number: 12067086
Abstract: Apparatuses and methods of operating such apparatuses are disclosed. An apparatus comprises feature dataset input circuitry to receive a feature dataset comprising multiple feature data values indicative of a set of features, wherein each feature data value is represented by a set of bits. Class retrieval circuitry is responsive to reception of the feature dataset from the feature dataset input circuitry to retrieve from class indications storage a class indication for each feature data value received in the feature dataset, wherein class indications are predetermined and stored in the class indications storage for each permutation of the set of bits for each feature. Classification output circuitry is responsive to reception of class indications from the class retrieval circuitry to determine a classification in dependence on the class indications. A predicated class may thus be accurately generated from a simple apparatus.
