  • Patent number: 12401255
Abstract: A sensor device for contactless determination of a radial position of a rotor has a target unit on the rotor with an electrically conductive target material. A coil unit is adapted for electromagnetic interaction with the target material. A control unit is electrically coupled to the coil unit and is designed to excite a coil of the coil unit with an excitation signal and to detect and evaluate a response signal of the coil unit in to determine the radial position of the rotor. The target unit has target elements with the target material in the direction of rotation on the rotor separated by a gap and the gaps of the target unit. Coil(s) of the coil unit are matched to each other in their geometry in such a way that the temporal change of the portion of the coil projected onto the target unit in a radial projection.

  • Publication number: 20250154337
Abstract: The present invention relates to a composition, such as a rubber composition, including (a) an elastomeric polymer material, and (b) an oxidized wet beaded carbon black. The oxidized wet beaded carbon black can be prepared by wet beading carbon black and subsequently oxidizing the wet beaded carbon black. The oxidized wet beaded carbon black can be beneficially used in the rubber composition to increase the properties of the resulting rubber product.

  • Publication number: 20250153128
Abstract: The present invention relates to a screw conveyor configured to produce oxidized wet beaded carbon black including a reaction chamber and at least one ozone inlet to supply ozone to the reaction chamber. It has been found that the destruction of carbon black beads can be reduced using a screw conveyor for the oxidization. Additionally, the oxidation of the wet beaded carbon black could be improved.

  • Publication number: 20250145834
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process for the production of oxidized wet beaded carbon black. It has been found that carbon black can be wet beaded and oxidized subsequently. This process allows a better control of the degree of oxidation without damaging the beads. Moreover, the oxidized wet beaded carbon black can be beneficially used in a rubber composition to increase the properties of the resulting rubber product.

  • Publication number: 20250034399
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method for controlling the oxidation of wet beaded carbon black in a screw conveyor. It has surprisingly been found that the motor current used to drive the conveyor screw is an indicator for the destruction of the wet beaded carbon black during the oxidation. The inventive method as well as control device utilize said motor current and adepts the rotational speed of the screw.

  • Patent number: 12148544
Abstract: In order to improve the mechanical stability of an X-ray grating with top bridges for X-ray dark field imaging and/or X-ray phase contrast imaging, it is proposed to reduce or prevent the undesired high stress on the top bridges by a change in the manufacturing process. Specifically, it is proposed to electroplate the top bridges after the bending. In other words, the electroplating of the top bridges is performed on the bent geometry.
